"Taylor's did not honor our dinner reservation. I made the reservation on Open Table. I confirmed on her voicemail reservation line. Then I called and confirmed myself with a living person. We arrived on time (7:30). There was no empty table in the restaurant. We had our 90-year-old mother to celebrate her birthday. After almost 15 minutes waiting for a host to show up, he finally did. He claimed that we had no reservations (mainly called me a liar). I showed him the email confirmation from Open Table. He wasn't impressed yet. He told us it was a short waiting time, 5 to 10 minutes. Half an hour later, we left before my mother died from blood sugar. I ate Taylor for over 30 years. They went down and down. The owner, Bruce Taylor is never visible. If the owner doesn't care, I won't come back."

"The place looked closed, which is good and bad. The food was amazing and the view is incredible, but wished they had outdoor seating to take all the views. The dining area is dated and could use some serious DC. The bartender was great, but because it was the end of the season, they were short employees and the poor guy had the bar and our table in the dining room. You need to be open more than three days a week to help more employees. The food quality was great and one of the reasons I would go back."

Not gazillion choices which I prefer, but starters, salads, seafood, and steaks, desserts, something for everyone is our party of 5. We were served popovers and butter, a delightful surprise. "Service was impeccable, as is reservation seating. The mâitre d' will not seat you until your reservation time, so don't arrive too early. Also, all members of your party must be present before the mâitre d' will seat you. If you are a person with a sensitive palate you will not care for the cheesy mashed potatoes. I was dismayed that this restaurant would serve a dish made with dehydrated potatoes. Order the baked potato instead."
