"This is a wonderful old San Francisco treat. I had not had a Ramos fizz for 30 years and the rolls they start you with are spectacular. We had a wonderful outside table and everyone in my party of 4 loved their food. The jellied donuts were a wonderful dessert. We will definitely return."

"The hotel paid attention to detail, from the beautiful furniture and artwork in the rooms to the sensor foot light by the bed and the lingering room spray. The air conditioning was at a comfortable temperature, and a light had been turned on in our room for our arrival. The hotel was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with luxurious touches such as a refreshing shower and scented shower soaps. The water temperature was very hot. Although we did not visit the restaurant or bar during our stay, we would consider doing so if we were back for other reasons. One downside to our stay was that noise from the lodger above us could be heard clearly, keeping us up until 2 am as they moved around. I would recommend requesting a room on the top floor to avoid this issue. Additionally, there was occasional noise from passing trains as the hotel was located next to the tracks, but this did not bother us. Contrary to what was mentioned in our maps search, the hotel did not offer free breakfast, and everything was considered an additional charge. We decided to drive to Greenville for breakfast, where we found a variety of restaurants and a charming donut shop called Bismarck. Overall, this hotel is a wonderful choice for a special occasion, though it is quite expensive. Despite the noise issue, we would consider staying here again, but would definitely request a room on the top floor."

"Always good food but our server was extremely busy. Food took longer than usual to arrive and part of my order was missing and I had to wait for it ."

"It was not too busy so the noise level was perfect. We could all hear each other and have a conversation. Food was perfect and our waiter was exceptional!"

"We love Wildfire! It’s such a nice treat as it is on the pricier side. The Prime Rib is always delicious. I was a little disappointed in the loaded baked potato as it was very over cooked and too hard to eat it’s on me though for not saying anything to the server. Speaking of the Server she was amazing she went above and beyond and made the experience go from good to great! We will definitely be back."

"The 2 of us are here dined Saturday eve for the first time. We sat on the terrace and ordered drinks and small plates. The drinks were very good. The Don Pizza and the board were also excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. This will enjoy a new place for us!"

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"We had a reservation at Wildfire (glenview) on a rainy Sunday 5:45 PM as always, the place was busy! I requested a quiet table and they did acknowledged my request by putting us in a smaller, quieter room. I had the bison burger w/grilled onions and creamed spinach as a side, instead of french fries. My husband had the turkey burger. Everything was delicious! The service was friendly and attentive. This restaurant is always packed. When we arrived at 5:45pm, the restaurant was full and almost every table was finishing their meal already. As we exited, we walked through the crowd of waiting customers waiting for tables to turn over. Recommend you make a reservation at least a day in advance."
"very impressed with everything we ordered. The menu was not extensive, but the dishes ordered were delicious and imaginative. very nice little plate options. Service great."

"Overall, good but not great experience. Came here for dinner before UVa BBall game-I didn't realize its a fair bit out town. Most of the items we ordered were good and the one major miss was corrected by our very friendly server. Everyone is very friendly and service was prompt. Portions are large. I started with oysters-I thought they would be raw as I requested; they were slightly steamed and ok but not great. My duck was good (although a bit rarer than preferred) and the sides were very good. My daughter's crab cake sandwich was good. First order of ribs brought to my wife were overdone, very hard to remove from the bone, and had virtually no flavor. Waitress noticed my wife not eating them and without even a specific request by us, put in an order for a second batch without charge. Second batch were delicious. Good beer selection and we were done in plenty of time to get back south on 29 for the basketball game. Interesting that my Dark and Stormy was brought to me with the rum in a shot glass and the bottle of ginger beer and I mixed it myself. I would come again if nearby, but don't think I'd make the trip from UVA area with all the other choices close by there."

"this is one of the top places to have breakfast in miami beach, so my non-veg best friend choose it for her birthday. I got the vegan burger and the pattie was sturdy and tasteful, although the pita brot was too thin to take it with the added avocado and the filling of fresh vegetables. the homemade bananenketchup was delicious, especially when it was mixed with a small hot sauce to dive the sweet potatoes."
"I'd give this 3.5 starsThe ambiance is dark and getting in the dining room wasn't possibleDining at the bar was ok, but noisy with fair service."

"Mrs. Mac’s Kitchen II is pretty much legendary in South Florida and a wonderful place to pull off the side of the road for a slice of their award winning Key Lime Pie. We stopped by for lunch on our way to Key Largo after reading the great reviews. The hand painted slogan on the outside of the building was a welcomed sight Eat well, laugh often, live long! The parking lot was packed, as was the restaurant, but we were welcomed in and seated within a few minutes. The kitschy and eclectic design was everything you’d hope for from a small island diner: a hand blown glass Octopus chandelier, nautical themed fishing equipment, ceiling panels that resembled the open sky, palm trees, seashells, fish window decals, license plate lamp covers and an oversized bar, surrounded in bar stools, anchored in the center of the restaurant. Even the shell themed bathroom sink and pirate’s themed wall hanging in the hall added to the overall appeal. I was very happy to find Vegetarian plates, as well as a few Vegan options and the teenager and husband were excited about the seafood. We selected our meals from the lunch menu which runs from 11:00 5:00 Monday through Saturday. I chose the Veggie Saucer a Pita bread sandwich with two different slices of cheese, cucumbers, lettuce, tomato’s, onions, mayo, arugula and special sauce. The sandwiches include pickle slices and your choice of ruffled chips, slaw or cottage fries. My husband ordered a Fried Oyster Dockside sandwich served on a hoagie with shredded lettuce, tomato’s pickle slices and an upgraded side of fried pickles. The teen ordered Coconut Shrimp and left nothing on the plate but the Shrimp tails! The Key Lime Pie was everything we’d hoped for and the perfect way to end our meal! Pros: Large menu including something for everyone seafood lovers, picky eaters, kids, vegetarians and vegans. The hostess and servers were very welcoming and attentive. The decor and ambiance is exactly what you’d imagine a small island diner could be! Cons: Small parking lot and very busy during peak hours, but we’ll worth the wait!"

"I have dined at City Grill multiple times and have always enjoyed the delicious food. The service can sometimes be slow, but during my last visit, it was excellent. Despite my preference for outdoor dining, the noise from traffic was distracting (which is not the restaurant's fault). The drinks were a bit weak, but my companion and I both enjoyed the swordfish special."

"Wow. Phenomenal!!! This adorable restaurant is so unassuming in a strip mall in Anchorage. The atmosphere is great bright yet cozy. And the service is very attentive. Try the ravioli appetizer. So so delicious. We had the pepper steak melted in my mouth and the chicken fried steak crispy and tender. The potato gratin served with the pepper steak was possibly the best potato in any form I have ever had! We meet the owner, Nancy, who was super sweet and friendly. Highly recommend this great little Cafe with a fantastic menu and delectable food!"
