"Fuji Sushi is the best sushi restaurant in Lafayette, LA. It’s rated highest by Facebook's Foodies of Lafayette. They follow the traditional roots of sushi—the formality of it all. Warm towels are provided upon arrival and again after dinner. It’s a small place that allows so much attention to detail. Ginger is amazing as front of house hostess and server—if she’s seen you once, she will remember you and what you like to drink. Miso soup is complimentary, as well as the beautiful oranges afterward. Tik is the sushi chef and creates beautiful rolls and plating. Check out their love boat! Wow. Every time we visit, it’s as if we were invited to their home for dinner. It’s a hidden gem in Lafayette, and it’s fantastic."

"It's a cain hibachi, once you walk through the doors i bet you wouldn't be able to tell the difference from one to the next. Did not do the sushi. Did the standard group table.. with a show. It was a good time. It could be considered on the more costly side, but you definitely get your full. So if you're looking to go out with a group and this is your taste of stlye.. go for it."

"I've been ordering the delivery from here for years because it's not far from my house. Although it says vegetarian, they are all vegan and use soy protein. You also have tofu dishes. It also has Japanese food, so you can also get miso soup and veggie sushi. I've never eaten inside, but maybe one day I'll be. Love this place!"

"Great local tex mex resturant. They have a salsa bar with several really good options and the chips come with bean dip that is also typically good. Their menu is pretty standard but does have a few more unique options here amd there if you dig. One item I have only had here is their corn cake which is like a sweetened corn meal type dish served on the side of most lunch items and some dinner items, and can be ordered as a extra generally. Prices are reasonable and the place seems to stay fairly busy most days amd evenings. They also have a really nice bar area somewhat separated from the main dining area with several TVs."

"The food was just average this time. We definitely have had better sushi at Banbu in the past. It seemed like all of our fish was served about a day later than it should have. I will go again and hope that the quality is back to how it was on previous trips."

"We tried this restaurant for the first time during Houston Restaurant Weeks. They had 6 courses and all were great. This restaurant was a Benihana style restaurant with the different cooking stations where they cook your entrée right in front of you, and the chef does fancy juggling work with knives, spatulas, etc. Our server was Jennifer, who was wonderful, and our chef was Samuel, who put on quite the show for us. The portion sizes for the entrée and dessert were huge, and we brought many of the leftovers from each course (except dessert) home and plan to eat it for dinner (or dinners) or another night."

"During my vacation, I made a reservation at Ore House for 5pm on a Friday. The staff was great and the restaurant was very clean. I especially enjoyed the cowboy atmosphere. The drinks were strong and delicious. We ordered the French dip with asparagus and baked potato, as well as the 8 oz prime rib cooked medium rare. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and the flavor was amazing - probably the best prime rib I've ever had. Our waiter, Nate, was fantastic. To top off our meal, we had the Mud Pie for dessert, which was a total must-have."
