"I love to visit First Watch. I enjoy the fresh plates and juices. However, this was my first visit at the Camphill location. I had the million dollar hash which was a delicious combination, though half way through I realized the crimini mushrooms never made it on the plate. Since I was half way through and our server, John, hadn’t checked in yet I decided to not mention it. I had the lavender lemon and butterfly pea juice, which was beautiful and delicious. I was excited to try the churros but wouldn’t order those again. All in all a decent First Watch experience, my only true complaint is the lack of professionalism from our server, John. A particular comment he said bothered me, as I watched the restaurant continue to fill up, and understood that our food may take a bit longer. Before our food came out John took the opportunity to let us know it would be out soon, and followed that up with, “Sorry, the kitchen is dragging a ”. As someone who is in the industry I found that comment unprofessional and unhelpful. I know how it feels to be a server in that situation and a cook in that situation. There’s better ways to handle stress and the customer experience. I will still be giving first watch a 4star review because I am sure this is not a true representation of their customer service standard."
