"I went here on a Thursday night. The bar attracts many people for drinks and the vibe who may not want dinner. There is a significant cocktail and alcohol selection that is very well priced. Despite the white table cloths and high prices, the restaurant feels welcoming enough to walk into off the street. Service is very nice. The cornbread and butter was very good, a highlight in my notes. I had the shrimp and grits the shrimp were nice and large and the grits had a delicious nubby quality with butter. The andouille sausage was nicely cut. I enjoyed the tomato based sauce that balanced the grits. I found the sauce a little too smoky bordering on liquid smoke flavor that I tried to mask with grits. Others may love the high smoke flavor."

"The entre was burned on the bottom (chicken francaise). The Merion potatoes were not particularly warm. The roles were stale. When I received the check I was charged for two soup appetizers which were included with the meal. The waitress reversed the charges without problem"

"Came here to kill some time on a Sunday. Staff was very inviting. Wife and I ordered a couple cocktails, both were excellent. Ordered a dozen oysters, some raspberries and whetstones, very fresh. I had mussles for lunch and my wife had the shrimp poboy. The mussles were delicious, but be warned, heavy on garlic (in a good way). The poboy was great as well and the frites were thin and crispy, just the way we like them. Overall, the food, ambiance, service, all top notch. 5/5 will be back more often. Thanks for a great experience!"

"When we arrived for our reservation, we waited a couple of minutes before a server greeted us. He said he was the only server working, and when we asked if he was expecting any help he said no! Seriouslyone server for the bar and two rooms of tables? This was a Saturday night! We walked out. Appreciated his honesty"

"This restaurant was a huge disappointment. We attended a birthday party there, and it turned out to be a big mistake. We waited 25 minutes just to receive bread and water, and it took another hour before we could get a drink. Our meals took an hour and a half to arrive, and when they finally did, the food was not good at all. The service was equally poor. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience. What a shame!"
