"We haven't been to Skipper Restaurant and Chowder House for years, but have managed to get our party from four here for dinner. So glad we did. What a perfect dinner. Our waiting person Maria is a pleasure to serve us. She brought this super personality to our table with a bright smile. Welcomed us and started to offer us a drink order. Minutes later, our possibilities of refreshments were placed on our four top. Great! We took some time to see the extensive menu offers. A selection of fish, meat and so many different dishes ready to tempt any appetite. Mary returned, took our mission and asked if we needed something else. She went to the kitchen. The place is bright, clean and decorated with the sea and fishermen's decor. No dust buns or spider webs. Nice! Our meals were presented in a few minutes, perfect and still hot on the touch plated. My dinner was Baked Scrod, Vegetable-Medley and a side salad to my taste. My friends were all completely satisfied with their restaurants selection. Don't worry about their meals. This is a journey home! The prices reflect the quality of the offers and skipper makes it right. Great food, great drinks and great service.
