"We had a great time at Cobalt. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are good for the high prices they charge hence the stars for value. That said, the wine markup is super ridiculous, so we likely will come back for meals with friends who drink less : (a delicious Sancerre on the menu for $125 can be bought in a store for $24.99 . Food recos Foie Gras app, Caviar app, scallop entree, and my dining companions shared that the Lamb and the mac cheese dishes were also noteworthy. Our server, Nikki was awesome friendly, super knowledgeable and attentive. My dining companions were a little put off by the larger service support, or lack thereof, in that for the type of restaurant and the price point, they expected Nikki's support staff to be a lot more visible (we had to ask for napkins and flatware after getting our first food item, when the tables are typically set before seating , and we ordered 2 plates that we stated would be split between 2 of us, and we would have expected the kitchen to plate the split. When the food runner brought the single plate, we even had to ask for extra dishes to split it ourselves. these are minor things, and we just reset our expectations that while the prices may be high, the vibe is still pretty casual. Great views on the outdoor seating area, and nice ambiance, and they are good with kiddos too (crayons and coloring sheets, and a kids menu . We will be back!"

"Hidden treasure, It was my wife's birthday and everyone made the day very special. We enjoyed the food so much. From appetizer, soup and main course to dessert, all food was excellently prepared and showed layers and taste depth. We even have food for our meal. I travel around the world every month and this food is comparable to high-end food international. It is definitely for people who appreciate quality over quantity. This place is the kind of restaurant we have been looking for in the Ellicott City district for 10 years and we were surprised to find that it has been in Elkridge for over 20 years. It's only 15-20 minutes from Columbia and Ellicott City."

"I didn't know it was in a Hilton hotel when I booked the table. Food and service were fine, but the ambience was so corporate. On the plus side (1) the place was empty so that we could entertain each other, (2) the food was good (3) our server was really nice and polite and came to the right times. "Kim was fantastic! She was training a new team member and was still able to give us 100% attention. She was welcoming, engaging and energetic. We were a party of 8 and she was spot on with each order, even with substitutions. Gold star for her! The brunch/lunch menu caters to all tastes and the food was wonderful. "We had a reservation at 5:30. We arrived at 5:10. Did not get seated until 6:10. We could not cancel beforehand since there was a 40 dollar threat of cancellation (we tried to cancel four full days before the 14th but the app wasnt letting us). Nonetheless, we went in early. We ordered drinks. 35 dollars for a moscow mule and a long island ice tea. Pricey but whatever. Basically, they put 15 tables in the lobby that was probably as big as our living room. So it was cramped. They took two of the unoccupied chairs and dumped our coats on the floor. No offer to hang it up. By then, waiting for so long, we ordered popcorn before the meal to quell our hunger. Popcorn arrived after dessert. This dinner is 70 dollars per head and the salad was very anorexic. The potato soup was a broth than a soup with not even a slice of potato. The steak at least, was edible.The tiramisu, I swear, Safeway’s tasted better. The live band was okay. As a whole, we would not care to repeat the experience. What was the point of a reservation if it wasnt going to be honored? Upside: they had very nice paper towels in the bathroom. Downside: everything else. Takeaway: save your $140 dollars and go to Lake Oswego Grill. They comp your drinks and appetizers for an hour wait."

"We made a reservation for and were told we could order off of the regular menu or the mezza menu. Upon arrival we were denied the option of ordering off of the regular menu because we were seated outside (because they couldn’t accommodate our party at a table inside). Why that is was never fully explained. We decided to stay, as the view of the river is stunning (it’s the best feature of the restaurant). In a nutshell, the options are very limited, drinks are overpriced and the food is both overpriced and disappointing. The lobster roll isn’t worth the hotdog roll it was served on. By looking at it, it could have been seafood salad. They did all they could to maximize profits and minimize quality. Will not return or recommend."

"Incredible dinner! Celebrated a friends birthday and all of us were given complementary glasses of champagne and free birthday dessert. The owner came over and spoke to us which made us feel at home. Food was incredible, highly recommend the French onion soup and pesto gnocchi. "Yummy is a must-visit restaurant. After having dietary restrictions last year, I was impressed by how accommodating they were. They even went out of their way to prepare gluten-free French Toast for me, which was absolutely delicious. I left feeling satisfied and full. My husband tried one of their breakfast specials, which included pancakes, 3 eggs, 3 sausages, and toast, and he loved it. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. We will definitely be returning to Yummy."

"the only reason why there is no 5-star course is because I feel that customer upgrade has been lost in this hotel. they used to offer half-priced rooms for Sunday, continental breakfast, appetizers for happy hour, all gone. my man went there for over 30 years during the Michigan race and he saw many changes. it was a family weekend for us until it became too expensive, then instead of 2 rooms he had to go on and made it a young one. in the course of the years he saw the customer upgrade die and take over the almighty. if he had a problem, the job he got was not as if it were going elsewhere. as a delight for a hotel it is to do an elite hotel for the fountain. we went back to Kovid and found it very expensive. it's lovely, but they don't offer their gasses any more. beautiful rooms and very clean, but I can get this in the best western for significantly less. the rooms are not cleaned during their stay, I understand because I kovid, but in reality that saves them money because the cleaning staff has not so much to do. I know everything is going to be expensive, but when you see that the almighty takeover and customer upgrade are lost, it's sad. it will be a long time when we go back because it will only become too rich for my blood. it was always a bit expensive, but it was not justified with those of them."

"Very disappointed in this place. Stayed at the Westin and requested food to be ordered to go. They very rudely asked if I was staying at the hotel as though no one who isn?t staying here can even get to go food because they?re operating understaffed. Paid $78 for a meal, requested a medium rare steak and it barely came out pink. Also slapped a room service charge on my account even though I went down to pick up the food. WHAT?! The least you can do is bring it to me if you?re going to charge me a fee for room service. Mediocre food very mediocre service. Do your self a favor and go anywhere besides here if you plan to stay on Jekyll island. Disappointed and as a Marriott vacation club owner I am embarrassed that they have this restaurant under their name. Spend your money elsewhere"
