"The restaurant has a great New Orleans vibe, which we enjoyed. Not knowing the difference between Storyville and Lulu’s, we booked for the latter, which would be great for a drink but not so comfortable for brunch. Fortunately, we were able to move upstairs. The service was slow, the menus difficult to manage because what was on the web was not the same as what was available. My friend was not impressed with the rice in the jambalaya bowl and, although she was told there was sausage, she all she found besides the rice was bacon and green pepper. The shrimp in my shrimp and grits were excellent. The grits, however, were soupy and unpleasant to eat. We also didn’t understand their policy when complaints are made. I was given a 50% reduction, but my friend, who originally ordered the “special” only to be told it wasn’t available, was eventually presented with the dish as carryout at no charge. Our conclusion was that we need another trip to New Orleans."
