"The restaurant has a great New Orleans vibe, which we enjoyed. Not knowing the difference between Storyville and Lulu’s, we booked for the latter, which would be great for a drink but not so comfortable for brunch. Fortunately, we were able to move upstairs. The service was slow, the menus difficult to manage because what was on the web was not the same as what was available. My friend was not impressed with the rice in the jambalaya bowl and, although she was told there was sausage, she all she found besides the rice was bacon and green pepper. I booked a party of 8 for my fiancé 's birthday, on a Saturday, for brunch. We had the downstairs Lulu, speakeasy lounge. The decor is amazing, the food was good at a good price, and the service was great! Rocky was amazing! We would book again.

Needs major help! The look of the place beautiful, pics worthy, but the food was just ok. The Buffalo chicken waffles was cold and waffles were soggy. The shrimp and grits ugh the shrimp was overcooked grits were ok but there was no sauce it felt unfinished and the breakfast jambalaya was decent but not amazing. They need a new chef and revamped menu! The waitress had to continue to be called…the drinks are the ONLY thing worth having again. Totally underwhelming

Very nice ambiance but overworked and understaffed team. The Lulu host was particularly rude; he acted like we asked for a walk-in to Le George when I asked if there was any walk-in room for the speakeasy downstairs. Waitress was great. Menu was limited and nothing special, very little for vegetarian options. Great catfish though. Good prices on food, especially for the location. Cocktails typically pricey for the location. It’s not bad, but it’s not great. Lots of better cajun in the city.
