"Can’t beat the setting, right on the water looking north at the south end of Lake Washington. Absolutely beautiful. Great service here and the quality of food is top notch. My pork chop was cooked perfectly as well as all the sides we had. I’ve read this a 4 1/2 star experience and would give it a five if it had a little more variety on the menu. But there’s something to be said about a small menu in which everything is delicious. I’ll be back to try the rest."

"no great first visit. we were sitting on one of the circular cabins like the old ferrisrad. that was cool until we noticed how dirty the seats were together with the table. on the places there were dirt spots, fingerprints and beats on the places above the seats and on the table hanging spears. there were also crumbs and mums from the previous moss. our waitress was warm, but cold. She just came to the table a few times, which made it difficult to treat the problems with our food. the price was high for the type of available food. our burgers were boiled and the amount of food was not sufficient for the $20 cost. when I addressed the cleanliness question with the manager, she did not seem worried and quickly released the feedback. it is regrettable that such a new restaurant was such a disappointment. besides the cleanliness and service problems the table had already worn holes in it and there were chips in the floor tiles. we will probably not return."

"This classic American pool cabana serves up cocktails, mocktails, and all sorts of fried food for locals who know the Lafayette swim club as well as out of towners who are smart enough to stay at this glamour of yesteryear hotel. Expect bartenders and wait staff with years of exp and tattoos to match their attitudes. Ask for a table overlooking the pool, or splurge and get the pool pass so you can partake in the water sport activities. The pool is very kid friendly."

"We made a reservation at Blend for the Elton John Concert but got caught in traffic and arrived a bit late for dinner. They did not have any tables available but they were super nice and suggested that we have a drink at the bar while we waited for a table to open. As you can imagine everyone was arriving between 5 7pm to get dinner prior to the concert. They were doing an amazing job getting food out and serving everyone; however, I did see a few people upset on the wait time. All I can say was it was WORTH THE WAIT for our food and craft cocktails. We finished up with dinner and got to the concert at about 8:10. We really enjoyed the Rose Garden craft cocktail. We also had a cheese app, flat bread entree and the pork biscuit entree. The place is really cool decor and we will return on a night with no agenda except dinner and drinks."

"The drinks were amazing I had the Misunderstood Mojito and it didn’t disappoint, the spiked lemonade was alright too tart for my liking and the rose garden was delicious. The appetizers were tasty, seasoned well I just wish there was more calamari , the cauliflower bites were the best thing. It really had a great play on fried chicken wings. The entrees on the other hand were not great, the spicy chicken sandwich was dryyyyy and lacked seasoning and my friends steak had no seasoning at all. If we knew this we would’ve just finished our meal with the small eats and been on our way. Overall it is a cute spot for small bites and drinks."

"We were visiting and used OpenTable to find a place for lunch. This restaurant was in a Hoilday Inn Express, and the place is equal to an IHOP or Dennys. We would have been fine but the server went home midway through our experience and didn't say anything. The food was not entered and it was a mess. I think the guy that tried to take over the mess wa the bartender and he was super embarrassed by what was happening. The food was heat and serve, there was almost no staff and we certainly should have gone to another restaurant."

"My husband and I enjoyed our dinner tonight. The food was what we expected for the price. Our Calamari appetizer was one of the best we had. My crab cakes were very good. His pig was tender with good taste. Our server was friendly and attentive. My only handle is that rice/potatoes with root vegetables were served as sides with both ducks. Very heavy. Fresh vegetables would have made a more balanced meal. That was the third time I ate here. It is a beautiful change from the typical Lake Wales restaurants. Will certainly return."

"The property seems quite dated but works overall. The elevators flooring needs updated. The room I stayed in had carpet stains and apparently uninsulated walls. I was called by the front desk to turn my music down which I was playing through my cell phone into a portable speaker. The TV would have been louder but alright. The water was luke warm for showers; I’m guessing because the property is so big. Having a restaurant on site was convenient. Location to River Downs was convenient. The gentleman who checked me in at the desk was kind. The gym area was nice although some buttons on machines were broken.IF you plan to eat breakfast include the option in your reservation or You’ll pay 18 per person on weekends. Weekend Breakfast buffet was thoughtful and had several options including healthful choices. Parking can be overwhelming due to size of property. Figure out which numbered door your room is nearest and park in that vicinity. Not many restaurants on exit. No Kleenex and body wash in room. AC seemed to shut down during the night. We woke up hot as if there is a motion sensor on the thermostat. WiFi was adequate. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Restaurant staff was excellent and attentive. No modern USB charging ports available."

"4 birthday celebrations- noted in the reservation. Reservation was set @7:30 got seated around 8. Service was so incredibly slow, we were there until 10:45. Only had one round because our server wasn’t there enough to order more. No dessert menus were offered. We would’ve been happy to buy desserts to celebrate our friends birthdays. Cyntia, our server was oblivious. Our 10 top was divided between the bench and the two tables. Nearly every order was handed to the opposite side of the table. Highly recommend training, servers, and food runners to use table numbers. Helps to keep things organized. She forgot multiple orders. One of our friends sat the entire night without a bite to eat. Cyntia forgot her order and never even noticed there was never a plate in front of her. The bar was ridiculouslyyyy slow. 2 bartenders possibly and they had maybe 3 open tabs. Sure the guys are cute and friendly but make the drinks and then chat. Or chat and make the drinks when you have people standing at the bar, waiting over 10 minutes for 2 drinks. I ordered the fish entrée. She described the fish as, flaky and delicious but actually it was soggy, flavorless and extremely fishy. Considering the server had already forgotten, multiple entrées and miss-rang a couple appetizers… I didn’t want to complain further. Everyone at the table was over it. We had sat there for two hours, and none of us left with our appetite, satisfied. Super bummed. I heard raving reviews about this place. It was really excited to take my friends and celebrate all of our birthdays. Definitely won’t be coming back. Waste of money."

"On Christmas Eve, my three friends and I were craving steak and decided to meet up in Auburn. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were promptly seated and had the pleasure of being served by the best waitress. Although we don't recall her name, she mentioned that she had two kids at home. We wanted to let the restaurant know that our waitress truly made our night special. It was the best Christmas Eve for the four of us single guys. And let's not forget to mention that the steaks were absolutely delicious!"

"I come every time I'm back in Irvine, it's a classic for my family. Good: I enjoyed the tomatoes bisque soup with the grilled cheese simple dish but I liked it a lot. The same for the sweet potato armet good Drizzling of sweet maple syrup on the skill. The short rib is always super soft and easy to bite, and comes with a lot of free dishes such as potatoes and onion pieces. I also like the dirty rice in the brick chicken dish, but the chicken itself is average. Bad: The citrus pasta was a little too... citrusy it was a little sour for me and not super easy to eat too much of it. The noodle was the perfect texture. The place is also a bit slower on the service side and sometimes our order has been forgotten in the very loud facility. Overall a fun place to enjoy with the family on the pricier side, but also a good culinary experience."
