"I liked the Valentina and Vulcano pizzas both, great flavor, wish maybe a few more jalapeños on the Vulcano bc it really didn't have much spice to it. The crust was very chewy which seems to be a reoccurring theme. The mixed baby green salad is normally great but this time overdressed with olive oil so we had to force ourselves to get it down."

"First time here, will probably not return. Did not get bread at our table but everyone else in the restaurant did. Had to flag someone down for salt and pepper. No one offered Parmesan cheese for our Italian food???? Went to order a different glass of their “ house” wine and they didn’t have any. Brought the second beer that was ordered with dinner after we were done eating. Never saw the person who took our order again as she was taking 20 minutes to make someone else a drink. This kind of service and the place won’t last. The food was good at moderate prices but the service was so very bad."

"My family ate dinner here on Christmas Eve while I visited Boston and it was fantastic. My son and I love Italian food and are happy that we eat in a beautiful Italian restaurant. This place was not disappointed. The food was fantastic. The waitress suggested a nice cheap bottle of wine that was great. We sat in the lower level of the building, which seemed like a small cellar, but the ambience was still fantastic. Each table was booked and the whole food went out looked amazing. We didn't get it, but I recommend trying the pasta dish that comes out and into a wheel of cheese (parmesan maybe). They mix the pasta while scratching fresh cheese from the wheel into it. It looked fantastic. I had the Pesto Pasta and it was delicious. Would return to this restaurant when we get back to Boston."

"Delicious neopolitan pizza. You can tell the dough, sauce, and mozzarella cheese are fresh and high quality. I've had pizza in Naples, Italy...and this is the closest I've tasted to that in the US. Really good. The tomato sauce is what really hits it out of the park for me. Tastes like it's made with fresh tomatoes. The atmosphere is really nice here too and our server was very friendly. I just have to add in response to some other people's negative reviews of the pizza here...if you don't like this style of pizza, that's fine but just recognize that American pizza and Italian pizza are not the same. Don't come here expecting Domino's. ??‍"

"wonderful eating and service at Solo-Mio last night. my man and I shared a Caesar salad and the arugula and Prosciutto pizza. I can't get this pizza out of my head. I may have to order back and forth this weekend. our friends ordered the same pizza and auberginen parmesan and they were also satisfied. our server was attentive and often checked. excellent prices too. I'm looking forward to going back."

"This lovely Italian restaurant on Coronado Island offers a menu that includes a vegetarian/vegan section with several vegan options. We tried the gnocchi with vegan pesto and a vegan pizza, both of which were delicious. The staff were helpful in pointing out vegan menu items and suggesting lemon sorbet as a vegan dessert choice. The service was exceptional and we found it to be the best vegan food on Coronado Island. We highly recommend this restaurant."

"stick to order the pizza. the kalbsparmesan was terrible. the kalbs was an old, freeze-cooled piece of meat and then it was burned by the kitchen. the pasta came cold and sealed. the salad dress tasted. the cash are ocean perch. the menu should say it. my martini was like a shot of wodka. Thankfully the waiter took it back and made it new. this was a hard night of the vaters day eating. thanks to our waiter james. his service was great. the bar and the kitchen let us down."

"The stuffed pizza is amazing- that crust is so crisp on the outside and so perfectly soft on the inside. They have a bit too many fried food options so if you're a foodie you won't find anything new or interesting. But the menu is vast, reasonably priced and the entrees are decent. If you like Italian, the pastas are great, too. I tend to always order the blackened chicken fingers which is an appetizer and amazing. They have a decent won't list, and a great shop to buy wines to go, but I've ordered a few bottles of red that came to my table so warm it felt as though they were microwaved, but they were gracious in their handling of the situation. Great solid restaurant to visit. I come here often."

"I had amazing time at Nare Sushi in NYC. All foods were deliciously prepared and waitress was very attentive. I especially loved their sashimi and sushi. Sushi was too notch and is the best sushi you can have in NYC. It was very authentic taste that you may taste in Japan. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!"

"The service was impeccable. We sat in the bar so the ambience was just what we were looking for with the live music. The cosmopolitans, shrimp and steak were outstanding. The macaroni and cheese was dry and tasted like kraft Parmesan. We’re disappointed they no longer have au gratin potatoes. Overall a pleasant experience and we will return."

"Love ground pepper on my salad. When it was delivered, the person dropped it in front of me and left. No words spoken and no chance for me to ask. 5-6 minutes later our server came by and noticed I had not started on my salad. She asked if I needed something and I asked for the ground pepper, which she had a small grinder in her pocket and immediately served me some. Rest of service was about the same. Even at the end, we had to ask for coffee with the desserts. They seemed more interested in turning tables than in giving customers an enjoyable dinner experience. We both liked our fish entrees. Wife loved her dessert. My selection turned out to be pretty bland."

"So I think I am biased to this meal because it was a pleasant surprise while I was on my 2 HOUR oil change 2 blocks away.... this is my silver lining. I came with just a few tables sitting on Thursday at 6:00. It's very quiet, but full of dedicated Convo. I'm not creepy, just not used to eating alone. Anyway, the Burrata with Pesto was delish! The Cappelletti soup did not look appealing and was served piping hot. I concentrated on my wine for a couple, and then it found a little Bland, but purchased more chicken broth flavor with every bite. The Arancinis were on the outside with a creamy, cheesy center. I loved her. I definitely come back!"

"We had such a wonderful experience. We sat in a booth and it was my partner's birthday and he wore a silly hat made our daughter and the waiter brought us two glasses of Prosecco to start. He was friendly, patient and brought our young daughters to dinner, which was very appreciated. We have a full salad to share and it was huge. Maybe we would even have shared one! The GF Pasta was so good and paired perfectly with the Bolognese sauce. I ordered a glass of Lambrusco and dessert the flourless chocolate cake. I had expected the usual dark chocolate almost tort type cakes are flourless chocolate cakes, but it was more like a biscuit cake. It was amazing, especially ate with some of our little salted caramel gelato. I'm looking forward to coming back soon. It was a really nice family night outside."

"The singer was amazing was the hilite of our evening. I came with 3 friends that have never been to Mastros- we ordered the shucked raw oysters to start I have never been to any restaurant that didn’t cut the oyster from the shell!!! We had to cut it with our knives pick the shells out of our mouths… horrible! It was like eating egg shells. I asked the server if this is normal (as it’s very strange) she said no- that’s not normal she’ll mention it to the chef… nothing was ever done or mentioned again to us. When we got the bill, we waited over 40minutes for anyone to come back to us… we finally waived down another server she started to process our bill. Our server finally came back apologized saying she got stuck downstairs (whatever that means). We ended up being there for almost 4hrs!!!! I’ve been to Mastros several times never had such bad service… sadly my friends won’t likely come back."

"Horrible experience. Unfriendly and in attentive server. Took 15 minutes just to get water. Didn’t even get standard bread that every other table had. Asked for app to be split….it wasn’t. Took 1 hour and 20 minutes from time of seating to being served the main course. While we were waiting server never told us what was happening or offered anything like a snack or drink. When food was finally served it was far below the usual quality. Finally after main was served only then manager came and apologized. Offered to comp drink or dessert but by that time all we wanted to do was leave. They took two drinks off our bill at time of payment. I understand staffing is difficult post-Covid but if a restaurant can’t handle the number of covers they get, then they should reduce their seating capacity accordingly. It is put greed of the owners to have too many seats and not enough staff. Unkind to the staff and bad for customers. We used to come regularly, won’t be back for a while."
