"One of the rare places where, while expensive, has always left me feeling like I got a good deal. The food is flat-out outstanding, I’ve never had a dish that was even just “good.” Even the salads are “how the hell are they doing this” excellent. The atmosphere is elegant but not stuffy, and judicious use of sound treatment means it never gets noisy, even when packed. It’s a small thing, but being able to carry on a conversation without raising your voice really heightens the experience for me. Finally, the service is perhaps the most impressive. Attentive, knowledgeable staff, and some of the best bartenders in Brooklyn. Sit at the bar and your water will never be empty, you drinks will never be empty, your dirty plates will be gone immediately, all before you even think to ask. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. It tends to fill up but go early and sit at the bar. You won’t be disappointed!"

"WORST experience. The band was the worst I've ever heard and so loud we had to scream at each other and read lips. I asked twice if the band could turn the speakers down a bit and the waitress was extremely rude. It took over hours to receive our dinners and only of the arrived at the same time. The waitress was awful and rude to boot. The food was also disgusting. I am almost certain it was off. It was a huge waste of almost for two people. We are not talking a fancy restaurant either. Ridiculous! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!"

"patio not guaranteed. travel to to toronto for a night, try to support ontario. this place looked like he had a large terrace. the attempt to book voicemail was not like leaving a message for two days. used calibrator no answer. (if you had been a sign! by e-mail. get confirmation of the reservation specified terrace not guaranteed, first come, first served. no problem. proven on time for our reservation – 16 available places on the terrace. we said that we were put into the house because the people who had booked before us had already guaranteed places on the terrace. what? the chase must have their messaging just they obviously knew that we did not get a terrace sitting when we booked. are now clear with people when they are not sitting in the open left and had a great meal at another place (on a terrace!"

"Food was good, not excellent. My friend had chicken parm it was on the dryer side. The calamari appetizer was good, but a very small portion. My angel hair pasta with shrimp was again good. The other 2 in our party ordered seafood pasta, but were unaware of the available sauces, so got red sauce and were expecting white. Service was very good, but we will probably not be coming back, unfortunately."

"Went here for Fathers Day brunch, made 11:15 reservations. Took 15 minutes for our server to take our drink orders. 10 minutes later we were informed that they were out of **** Mary mix! At noon still no food and server never returned to see if we needed refills. We ordered the biscuits with local honey tasting, no information given on the honey (I think the three options were all the same) and the biscuits were cold. Main corses finally arrived around 12:15. Eggs were terribly overcooked. French toast was dry and the crust like cardboard. I do not recommend this place at all. Very disappointing as we had heard great things."

"Over all 8.5/10First off!!! Just get in line, walk to the counter, pay and u get a number, then u can sit anywhere but stick the number onto the top of the tray so the server can find u. (My first time was a mess lol) but the staff was very patience and kind ??.I have had few Italian cuisine, so am new.I had the spaghetti ? with meat balls (the standard) lol ?, it was lovely, and flavorful.The pizza ? was very interesting ? though, the Pompei pizza was WET but not the bad kind ?, also crunchy at the bottom (my mind is still blown? about this), I enjoyed it. "It was happy hour all day Sunday so we took advantage and had a half off bottle of wine. We ordered the so delicious ricotta herb spread. "We stayed at a hotel across the street and decided to order food from this restaurant for takeout because we were hungry. We went to their website to order, but it stated that they were not accepting online orders at around 7 PM. We called and were informed that they were too busy to accept online orders, even though their website indicated otherwise. Despite this confusion, we placed our order over the phone and picked up our food. We ordered two pasta dishes, but unfortunately, they lacked flavor and were overly salty. This was a disappointing experience, especially for a pasta restaurant. We were in town for a week and did not have a positive experience at this establishment, so we did not want to risk being disappointed again."

"The pre fixe NY meal was delicious!! Couldn’t have eaten anything better! My only qualm was the speed at which the drinks came out. Our reservation was at 9:45 and the bulk of the dining room had cleared out by the time we sat down so it wasn’t incredibly busy. My friend ended up cancelling her third drink (placed around the 11pm hour) since we were at our dessert and she still hadn’t gotten it. The drinks were all delish, but they were not consistent. The garnish was different each time it came out. The color and taste all differed too. Even with all this, we had a great experience as the wait staff, ambiance, food and even drinks were great!"

"Really disappointing. Live music was very loud and we were seated in a booth facing the restaurant so the people at either end couldn’t talk over the music. We asked to be reseated but we’re rudely told not possible, despite there being several empty tables in the other half of the restaurant which could have accommodated us. Service was all over the place waited ages for some things then main courses arrived literally as started plates were being cleared. Good mixed pasta dishes ok, pizzas undercooked. Caprese salad and bruschetta were not good."

"We ordered the lamb chops which were visibly very fatty. When I spoke with the manager he said they were supposed to be that way, which made us think we were incorrect so we kept it. Of course upon checking the web to find out we were correct and a lesser cut of meat was used and for $42 to get three fatty pieces was unacceptable."
