"To summarize, Hong Kong Food Street HKFS can be your humble, go to Chinese restaurant; 4 star suggests I'm likely to go out of my way to come back. The restaurant's look is a bit dated with off white tile with black grout. Tables are large and equipped with hand made lazy susans with some designs on them actually kind of cool . Out of 6 dishes I tried yesterday, my top 2 recommendations are: 1. Peking duck $38 I like how the duck is cut and laid out. Each piece is lined with a square of crispy duck skin. HKFS uses fluffy, white, taco style baos and the usual condiments: hoison sauce, sliced cucumbers, and sliced green onions. The duck also comes with a complimentary duck broth soup with some bok choy inside. Creamy and delicious, and best of all free. Somewhat of an expensive option, but it's a tasty set that you could easily feed 3 4 people on alone. We had to pack up the rest of the soup since we ran out of belly space. 2. Japanese eggplant and beef tips dark horse we've been on an eggplant craze lately and have taken a liking to the various ways restaurants prepare the plant. My goodness, it's delicious. Not too salty and somewhat sweet. Texture is nice cooked to the right firmness. If you're getting the dish for the beef you might find yourself disappointed, pleasantly surprised, or with mixed feelings. Just remember the beef is to compliment the star of the show eggplant !"
