"Michi sushi cafe is a hidden gem in west chester. Located right next to acme, I usually find myself ordering take out from this restaurant during lunch. They usually have the most amazing deals while still being good quality food! I hope they never change their great deals. This time though I decided to come in for lunch and try something new! Our waitress was very nice and got our waters very fast. Our food arrived in a timely manner. I ordered the chicken curry with white rice bento box lunch special. It comes with tempura vegetables, shumai, and a four piece California roll. The tempura vegetables were fried perfectly. The shumai was equally crispy and was one of my favorites! The California roll nicely balanced out the heavily fried aspect of the box. You can really tell how good a restaurant is by their rice and the rice was cooked perfectly! As for the chicken curry, I think I may have misinterpreted what I was going to get. The chicken was more on the boiled side of things, which is not my favorite. I had to set the chicken to the side. The sautéed vegetables however made up for that! Mildly spicy curry sauce, which was more of a clear sauce with some speckled seasonings. I personally would not order it with chicken. Maybe I’ll try it with shrimp or just stick with the vegetables instead. The fantastic roll was absolutely delicious! As well as the spicy crab roll. Their sushi rolls are always addicting! I would always find myself ordering their signature eagle roll because of how unique the roll is. The roll is fried with cream cheese center! The eagle roll plays well on your palate with all of the different textures and flavors. I will always recommend Michi! Can not wait to visit again!"

"Food is good, but is the attitude that comes with it worth spending your money here? NO. I called for the lunch special for Teriyaki chicken, however, I forgot that I wanted the extra sauce on the side as well. I called back and mentioned to the lady who I was recently just talking to that I wanted to add extra sauce on the side as well. The hosts said okay Mhmm hmmm no problem. Once I get there she repeats the order and mentioned that I asked for no sauce on the teriyaki chicken and that I just wanted it on the side completely. I told the hosts that was not what I said. Instead of just saying okay she proceeds to go back and forth. Once I told her for the third time that 's not what I wanted. She now then has an attitude because she has to re-open the back and add it. While opening the bag very aggressively she then hands me my card and receipt to sign with attitude. I should have just left food there and walked out but this would be my last time because the attitude was uncalled for. I order from there all the time and they will see that on their register when you call. However, this is not the first time I encountered a attitude with hosts either. My fiancè has been going there for a long time and I told him after today I would no longer be spending my money there. This restaurant needs to work on its clientele and how they talk to people. It 's not a good feeling when a consumer can feel negative energy."

"We were driving around looking for dinner so I used OpenTable to book a reservation for 6 people for dinner. The reservation was made for a table 15 minutes from that moment (clicked at 6:45pm for reservation 7pm). Perfect... that 's the power of OpenTable. We got to the restaurant, kids in tow, and the hostess saw the reservation on their system, but then told me that I 'm not allowed to do that. I was told that I can 't book a table 15 minutes before the reservation. I pointed out that OpenTable actually allows just that... which brought me to your restaurant in the first place. When I asked what the problem was, I was told that it isn 't fair because people are waiting for tables already. I simply said that they should then update their open reservations so OpenTable doesn 't offer me a table, but the hostess told me that OpenTable doesn 't work that way and doesn 't allow them to do that. Uhm… yes it does, that 's exactly the purpose: to connect people to open reservations. I asked her is we should just wait or should we leave... she actually told me that we were better off leaving. Wow. At that point, I said fine, turned to the family and said we need to go elsewhere, but then I asked the hostess to bring out the manager so I can at least explain the frustrating experience. The manager tried telling me the same story about OpenTable, but he at least told us to stay as he would get a table very soon, which he did. Still a very frustrating experience with people whom are clearly not trained in OpenTable operation. The interaction ruined my mood for the family dinner, so hope that it doesn 't happen to others. I 'll avoid the restaurant now."
