"Dining at Kyusu was my first foray into Burmese cuisine, and I have to say I'm definitely a fan! I've had my fair share of southeast Asian cuisine, and I can safely ay that nothing really compares to Burmese food the dishes here are so unique that they're in a league of its own. They have a pretty sizeable menu with a wide variety of offerings including noodle dishes and curries. Their bento boxes come very highly recommended so I went with their Burmese chicken curry bento. The bento comes with a side of either their famous tea leaf salad or vegetable spring rolls. I personally went with the tea leaf salad, but also ordered a side of vegetable spring rolls to try.The tea leaf salad came first. Initially I found the dish to be a bit sour to my taste, but after taking a few more bites I grew to enjoy the astringent savory flavor. The vegetable spring rolls were crisp and flavorful, nothing particularly standout about them, but they were well-made nonetheless. Now for the main course the Burmese chicken curry bento. Of note, this dish (fortunately for me) was non-spicy. I cannot say enough good things about this chicken curry. The chicken was cooked to perfection, soft and tender, and practically melting in your mouth. The potatoes were equally as flavorful (and if I had any complaint I just wish the dish came with more potato pieces they were THAT good). The curry is unlike any other curry I've had before, each bite was an experience as the savory flavors of ginger, cumin, garlic, and online danced across my taste buds. Needless to say I finished this dish in record time and honestly found myself wanting more.I'll definitely be returning here again soon. If you're looking for Burmese food or just want something new to try I highly recommend this restaurant!"
