"Dining at Kyusu was my first foray into Burmese cuisine, and I have to say I'm definitely a fan! I've had my fair share of southeast Asian cuisine, and I can safely ay that nothing really compares to Burmese food the dishes here are so unique that they're in a league of its own. They have a pretty sizeable menu with a wide variety of offerings including noodle dishes and curries. Their bento boxes come very highly recommended so I went with their Burmese chicken curry bento. The bento comes with a side of either their famous tea leaf salad or vegetable spring rolls. The curry was overwhelmingly flavorful with various interesting spices layered into it. Only complaint is that I wish the portion was a bit bigger, but I would absolutely come back try something else. The place has a nice authentic atmosphere about it too.

I'm so glad that I gave this place a try. The coconut milk soup is delicious. I drunk the last drip of it. Tips: the grounded pepper came with the soup is not spicy but flavorful, so I'd put in the whole cup. My wife liked the beef curry bento with tea leaf salad. Tips: the tea leaf itself is a bit salty, so don't put all of them in your salad.

this is probably my favorite Burmese restaurant in the bay area, which comes from a burmese person who grew up in myanmar. the shan noodles were delicious even though they were vegetarian! my partner also enjoyed his cocos noodles. the Dessert option was also like home. my place is just when they have restaurants outside. the price was also great. I would have this place over any of the fancier burmese restaurants with subpar aromen
