"Food was disappointing. Nice view of the Bluff. Checked the menu on OpenTable: Lobster Tagliatelle was listed at $42. We were looking forward to order it. When we arrived at the restaurant, the menu said Tagliatelle $42, add Lobster $47. Lobster Tagliatelle $89!! We mentioned it to our server who said that several guests have complained about it and that the managers did not care. Outrageously overpriced. The food in general was not that good here; we did not finish it. Very disappointing after coming from Stonehouse at San Ysidro Ranch, where every dish and meal were excellent and we wanted more!"

"Their prices have gone up astronomically, but I guess so has everyone else. We ordered togo for Mother's Day what would have been 27.00 the last we ate there, was now 41.00 I ordered 2 meals cheese dip. The menus online anywhere you search are very outdated obviously the wrong price, but I honestly was shocked at just how much the price increase was. Didn't stop me from ordering again. I ordered a Togo order of cheese dip a 16oz salsa with no chips for either it still ended up being 15.00. The food is still good regardless."

"The Redwood is a nice dining experience. Everyone enjoyed their food and our server was great. If there is one true negative to the Redwood, it 's their pricing. It 's a little bit overboard. $25 pasta dishes, $20 fish and chips (3 small pcs and a tiny basket of fries). They need to bring that issue under control. Our seat could have been better, as we were next to the walkway, and right next to the service station. The noise level was a little above normal but mostly due to several people and parties. Food came out hot and was delicious. (NY Strip, Shrimp Alfredo, Pot Roast Lasagna) We didn 't have fast service but we understood, it was a very busy night and our server had 2 separate LARGE celebration parties, so we had very acceptable service for the situation. 4 star with room for a 5"

"My first time going here and I ordered the lunch Camerones Yucatán and it was absolutely AMAZING!!! Also ordered some queso fundido and beef tacos for a friend. Great portion size also my meal came with tortillas which I wasn?t expecting. Service was friendly, restaurant was busy but I had placed order to go. I would definitely like to dine in one day and see how it is, I?ve often driven past and they always seem busy which is a great thing. Especially glad their food was good ??. FYI I ordered this lunch plate on a Saturday! So their lunch is 7days a week"

He always had a smile on his face and made sure to check on us, even though the place was packed. He took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. "I think they have the best Nachos Jalisco. I tried the most competitor version under the name Nachos Guadalajara and Las Fajitas! It has a great taste! But the best thing about the dish is, it has beef, chicken and shrimp. I don't eat shrimp unless I eat here! If you haven't checked this place, you should if you can!"

"I was initially referred to this place to eat the black beans veggie burger it was said to be vegan. mushroom duxelle, which is used in this dish (that is hit or miss how it can have hard understaffed bits in it), contains butter. the sriracha aioli is made with mayo. the portabello burger has two types of cheese and even if they don't tell them a cheese and that they are vegan, they will still be the breadth butter. their other choice is: clear salate. last but not least I found haare in my food. the chef I was sweating about eating, yelling at me. (this is after I have my eating with hair in it again nicely sent several times) the toilets are absolutely disgusting. if they are not vegan, they enjoy beer, good pommes and cleanliness is not a big thing, they could love it."

"Service was very slow. Our waiter was not attentive at all. The food was also delayed due to some issue in the kitchen. The manager Christina resolved the issue and was very helpful. If it weren't for her, this would be a 1 star review. It's great to see a manager who sees an issue and gets involved without having to be asked to. She was very nice and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we left with a great experience in the end. I am so glad she was there, or we would have had a very negative experience."
