"1. Asked how we wanted our burgers cooked then cooked them exactly like that. 100% on the money. 2. Friendly professional staff... Was expecting them to call our number but hand delivered our food to our table instead. Huh? Cool. 3. Pop was low... until we told them the pop was low and then guess what... 300 seconds later it wasn't low at all. All pop flowing like a sweet, colorful river again. 4. All food hot and like someone actually cared, a lot, about what we thought about it. Buns heated up, salad neatly stacked on the burgers, fries done right. Steak perfect enough for it to be damned scared of my 13 year old skateboarder and rightly so; caught it and ate it all... Poor sandwich! We didn't throw a single basket away and left the table perfectly clean just like we found it (even though it was busy as hell)."

"Was not sure about this place based on older reviews. Was very pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent (appetizers, pizza, entrees). Service was pleasant and made great suggestions. They are making changes and looks like they’ll be a go-to spot very soon. Highly recommend checking it out. And if you had not great experiences in the past, give them another chance. New owners and they are working very hard to make it a great place, including connection with local breweries. Will definitely go back!"

"Though we made a reservation, we saw a table at which we previously sat last Sunday was available in the open seating area in the bar, so we sat there instead. We enjoyed having the same server wait on us. Our appetizer order was delayed and our server checked on it. Somehow the order didn’t make it to the kitchen but the server and manager apologized, made it right and took care of us. We enjoyed Happy Hour values on the seafood tower appetizer and drinks, and grilled Romaine steak salad and fish and chips entrees were delicious. Attentive servers and good food are turning this into our new Sunday Funday spot."

"When we arrived it was still early and quiet. We were greeted quickly and our drinks came quickly and orders taken shortly thereafter. Most of us got fish with the Grilled Salmon and Hoison sauce looking absolutely fantastic. The crab cakes were visually fresh with large chunks of crab and very little filler if any that we could tell. As the lunch progressed the noise level picked up and it became harder to hear our conversations, which isn't out of the ordinary. We compensated easily"

"The energy of the place was off and the staff seemed flustered. Waiter didn’t go over specials, decor kind of resembled the IKEA dining hall, music was so low and the restaurant itself was oddly loud. I had the “shrimp and grits” which was so oily Texaco should invest stock in the recipe. The “grits” were not prepared right and had a repulsive over-mushy texture. I grew up eating shrimp and grits and this poor excuse for that dish should be thrown so far off the menu. Especially for $26. Husband had the stuffed cod and I’ve had better fish from a frozen box. The fish was absolutely fresh-frozen and not prepped properly. The fish was watery, mushy, and lacking any sort of texture. Sloppily thrown on a plate with a cream sauce that was separating. The worst, most expensive meal I’ve had in ages. Either lower the prices or raise your standards. Will not be returning."

"Everything was very good. Generous portions. The Applewood Smoked Pulled Pork sandwich and the Smoked Beef Brisket are outstanding. Second time to oder these and they were just as great the second time. The Baby Back Rib Sandwich is to die for. So so darn good. Can't wait to try a half rack. My son loved the Fried Mac and Cheese Bites. The Fried Sweet Corn with Bacon, Onions, and Pepper was okay, might have been better if the bacon wasn't burnt. All in all I would highly recommend Brent's if you love BBQ."

"I was really surprised by the food here it was very good I was expecting frozen food but it definitely was fresh. The potato skins were good Burger was juicy and delicious my wife got the chicken tenders and they were massive. But the chef in me had a pause cause they said there potato skins were served with chives however they came with scallions lol all kidding aside definitely a good place and the waitress was awesome very friendly and fast."

"While making reservation I was asked about special occasion. Anniversary. No mention of it at check in. After slow, slow service (which we did not mind) I mentioned to server about our anniversary. She said “Oh. Today is my boyfriend’s anniversary. I’m taking him to dinner tonight.” No mention of ours. Some server training is required. If the online reservation does not pass on to the restaurant info about special occasions, change online system. But, we’ll be back. Great food. Great value. Great menu. Great location."
