"This place gets an extra star because the pizza was pretty good and the service overcame adverse conditions and did a good job. We visited on January 9 when the rain was causing all hell to break loose in Southern California. This restaurant is in a nondescript strip mall and is furnished like a generic chain restaurant. Our hopes were not high. We just needed shelter from the storm. But the pizza was good. And the place was busy despite the storm. You can do a lot worse."

"I'm from Dallas Tx and my friend and I found this place by accident. We were looking for a food spot and came across this amazing little Italian place. As soon as I went in, I was greeted with nothing but smiles! The owner and waiter joke and talked to us like we are family. What everyone said is true.. now on to the food. It is amazing!! They help me pick a wine that went so good with what I had and I can't be more full and happy. This is the best place I been to since my time here in LA. I can not wait to visit California again to come back to Spumoni. If my friends ask me of any good eats, I will definitely recommend this."

"24. September 2022 truck-stop quality food! My first and definitely the last one here. I ordered her Halibut (potatoes and vegetables on one side). The fish tasted like a cardboard, completely dry and tasteless. The side potatoes were the same. I have no idea how they managed to get as many enthusiastic reviews. I decided to order a pizza thing, hadn't enjoyed the halibut. And that was a big mistake. The pizza was even worse than you got on a truck stop. I couldn't eat more than 2 slices and it was so bad that I didn't take it to go and just leave it behind. $54 down. The location and the atmosphere are good. The service was OK."
