"Detention replaced the Playground restaurant. This is my first time here since they changed name. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious!! My buddy took me here to celebrate a pre-Bachelorette and the staff went out of their way to make it extra special. We actually ordered their special limited ribeye steak but due to mix up we couldn't get it. However, they were very apologetic and offer us the waygu flank steak instead. Was slightly disappointed but these things are out of their control, just mean I got to come back again to try it Off the Record cocktail (5/5): this was so refreshing, light, and tasty! It is fizzy and fruity. I loved it! Chicken liver mousse with crispy tortilla (4/5): it was good but I wish the mousse had more pate instead of the other stuff. Didnt feel like eating pate, but more like dip. Hokkaido Milk bread Butter (5/5): the bread had a sprinkle of salt on top, the bread was still warm when it arrived at the table. It was so soft, with a hint of sweetness but well balanced with the salt. The butter was so light! Went well with the bread Gruyere agnolotti pasta (4/5): I thought the pasta was a touch under cooked. However, the flavor was delicious. I love the crunch on top. Waygu flank steak (4/5): the steak was cook perfectly to medium rare. However, I felt like the steak couldve been slightly more seasoned. Sweet potato: my friend ate this, she said it was good. I was surprised that the potato wasnt thể typical orange color. I can't really rate this as I didnt try it due to already overstuffed at this point. The restaurant also comp us some proseco to help celebrate. Overall, hịghly recommend! I will be coming back to try some of the other items on the menu, especially the ribeye (order early because they have limited stock each day"
