"Been wanting to try Bishop 's fancy place for decades; finally went in about a week ago. Wife 's ribeye was somewhat tough and pretty meh tasting. I had the salmon rose and it was really disappointing. The salmon itself was cooked properly but it came sitting atop a mound of couscous and swimming in a butter orange sauce that was way too sweet for my taste. I 'm famously unpicky, but this dish was pretty bad. The Sunshine Salad that we shared was dressed with a concoction that was also way too sweet. The decor is diner rustic, with emphasis on the diner aspect, which honestly matches the quality of the meals we had. The service was just adequate, but not in any way special. We spent about $...

We arrived at 7:30 pm and the place was packed. Th Ey got us in right away and within a couple min the waitress was there to answer any menu questions and take order We ordered whiskey creek style pad Thai. Which was amazing! Also had cashew Chicken which was very good.

Really cool restaurant! The steaks here are the delicious! I've eaten New York steak, and I can really recommend it. The service is really nice too. The place can be busy on fridays and during the weekend after 5 p.m., keep that in mind if you are on tight schedule. All in all, if you're staying here for even one day, it's worth a visit. Every time I’m in Bishop whiskey Creek is a must. Wonderful people. I was lucky enough to come in on a late Sunday afternoon to the bar lounge where they have many TVs for any sports you wish to view. Tom and his staff are awesome. My hats off to Jackalow the awesome singer guitarist keyboard player that mid October Sunday afternoon. This guy is awesome. Dietary restrictions: I told them I have a gluten allergy when I ordered my ribeye and stuffed baked potato, they made extra sure there was no flour involved in the process.
