"i ordered pork shoulder seems like they cut the pork in pieces stir fried it used the special they had in salt the rice was from the day before so was the beans the worst meal i had in the longest time the worst on top of every thing you have to wait 1/2 hour the meal is excellent if you have to throw up if you fell sick come eat here you will throw up so much it will clean your stomach but beware of the salt HORRIBLE HORRIBLE FOOD go to a garbage can and find food before eating here it will taste better trust me KEEP AWAY"

"this is a 5 star authentic experience. the app allows only 4 stars, as it is not completely vegan. the rice is made with veggie oil and it is very delicious. the fried beans are vegan and it is one of the best I had. vegetarian fajitas are good and we have also tried the spinat enchilada without cheese. the guacamole comes with jalapeños. we liked it, but they should take it out if they don't like it spicy. the prizes are great and they give a lot of food. we're coming back!"

"My girlfriend and I decided to visit Washington, DC again and our trip became much more enjoyable thanks to Boveda. We were impressed by the friendliness of the manager and our waiter. Our reservation was for 9pm and our table was ready when we arrived. We ended up staying until closing time because we loved the ambiance and enjoyed some of the best margaritas we've ever had. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to return the next evening. The manager let us sit in the same booth and even offered us a taste of his new sangria, which was delicious. We will definitely be visiting Boveda again on our next trip and are looking forward to bringing more friends along with us."

She is a picky eater but she loved it.Parking: Found a couple of empty spots on the street. It was around 5 pm during the week."

"The food taste fresh and it is flavorful. The portions are very good for the price. The guacamole could be better...there should be more avocado than anything else. I would like if they had combination dishes (e.g. taco, enchilada burrito) so I could try several items. On my last order, I ordered stew chicken and I got beef, even though the lady that took my order repeated back to me. It was tasty nonetheless. I do not like that the place looks dark even on a sunny day, so I prefer takeout instead."

"wife and I sat on a Saturday night immediately. we've been here before. with a wedge salad, sufficient for two portions. the salat wedge was covered with chopped tweepers and tomato in a light sauce. we then had camarones al ajillo, garnel in garlic sauce, and ropa vieja, shredded bark in a light sauce. both were tasty, portions are large. our waitress rocio was pleasant and attentive. we're coming back."
