"I love this spot. Great music, the food sounds standard but the actual preparations are very interesting. And the bar is great, the drinks menu is organized by base drink (vodka, gin, etc) which is the way I think about what to drink. Totally recommended. Just as a note to future guests, they charge for the sparkling water. Just bear that in mind if you're watering down your long-day thirst with it thinking it was free. Walter Foods is a must-visit for me every time I'm in Williamsburg."

"The best meal I have had in Charleston (including Husk). The dining room is dominated by wood finishes including exposed ceiling beams and large posts. The lighting is on the darker side but the table itself has more than adequate light to see each other and our food. Very attentive service by our server and all the assistants. If we wanted something different or extra, it was not hard to get that. And her recommendations were right on spot. The food was delicious the essence of southern. The fried chicken was crispy, but not oily, and the meat was tender and juicy. Great sides as well. I will return."

"What a great restaurant. I have gone to downtown LA for dinner quite a few times, but never been in a restaurant with such great music. Food was excellent, an exquisite Mexican cuisine with fresh ingredients make the flavors a delightful experience. When you can not stop eating the chips because the chili powder is so delicious, you know you are in the right Mexican restaurant.The outdoor area is great. This place is excellent for a couple's dinner and/or a fun time with friends. Do not forget to get your parking validation!"

"So lucky to have had found this hidden gem. Luckily they had room for walk ins because we couldn’t get a reservation. The salad was so delicious and refreshing I wish I had the opportunity to try other appetizers. The Cacio e Pepe and the Tagliatelle Prosciutto Parmesan was absolutely delicious! And ended with the hand chopped steak! Definitely recommend!"

"We are from out of town. Came here by just looking on Open Table for reservations. We had no expectations. But the cheese curd appetizer is really good. Then we shared the burrito (it is HUGE) our server recommended and it did not disappoint. Make sure to share this or be prepared to take left overs but well worth it."

"Rude front staff. We were stuck in traffic trying to find our way quicker to restaurant. They called at 15 min past our res and asked if we still wanted our reservation then thanked me for letting them know? Let my wife out to hurry to the table. They tried to seat her at the bar in someone else’s seat with menus then left her there. Cold shouldered us when I came in from the parking lot and my wife was walking back to the front after being abandoned at the bar. Bizarre. We were 16 min late. Been going here for years. Not sure we’re going back."

"We went for brunch. We ordered the special Benedict with roasted pork and potatoes and the French toast. Both were outstanding! The cocktails were also great. We ordered the Front Porch, the Pineapple Mimosa and the German Chocolate cocktails. All were delicious and recommended. The service was efficient, friendly and prompt. We are looking forward to coming back and trying it for dinner to see if it's just as delicious!"

"Two Experiences 1) Planned on watching the Women's World Cup game at the Tavern. Called ahead to make sure they would have the game, which they confirmed. When we arrived very unorganized seating inside. They actually were not able to show the game, because they do not have fox. Treated very rudely by the staff and left to watch game at another location. 2) a few nights later, wanted to sit outside with a nice view of the mountains. Experience was much better, seems they focus on the outdoor/patio diners more than they do the inside diners. Food was good, but still probably don't have enough staff for the entire location."

"My bride and I had a last night in LA and decided to splurge at the Polo Lounge. Staying at the hotel wasn’t great(terrible service), but the restaurant was fabulous! We started with oysters and Prosecco! I then had the Sea Bass and my wife had the Salad with prawns... both were perfect and made better a great French Chardonnay. We ended the night with sorbet and a cordial. Incredible meal and incredible service!"
