After being seated most of my skepticism was deceased due to super duper friendly service. Then I ate my first piece of sushi and immediately felt all of the absolute wonderful emotions that we get while savoring a beautiful/fresh/tender piece of fatty salmon. Anyone local or not looking for some sensational sushi and phenomenal service you’ve stumbled across the right place. In my somewhat diverse experience nationwide with sushi. "Aji is my favorite sushi place in all NYC. The service is very friendly, attentive and generous. Love the atmosphere that it feels relaxed here. The menu is huge and everything is excellent. The special roles are brilliant (Spicy Girl and Mango Hawaii are a few of my going to it), the Udon noodle soup hits the point on a cold day. We always share edamame (no salt) and also steamed Shumai. And we do not often get dessert, but every time we did, it was clear that much care went into that too. In view of the quality of everything and the size of the portions, the prices here are excellent you do not leave hunger. Just happy."

"Food was excellent but decor and building is in need of a serious renovation. Had the interior been as great as the food, we would come here all the time. Unfortunately it was in serious disrepair. Roof was leaking and there were trash cans all over. Place just looks dirty."

"My husband and I made reservations for dinner for two on a Monday. We arrived and checked in. The place was full of families with kids, we were happy to have saved a spot. We waited 20 minutes for our table. When we were seated we were instantly disgusted. The floor was covered in food and trash. The table tops had old sauce spilled, chunks of food, and the menus were filthy. We looked around and the entire place was not clean. They had three people cleaning one table and not one person gave a damn about how clean it was, it was low priority. We waited ten minutes at the table for service to come before getting up and walking out. We passed three staff and not one person asked us why we were leaving or if there was an issue. We will never return to this location. We go to the Fenton location where cleanliness is top notch and service is fast and friendly. Stay away from here!"

"Not impressed. Sashimi was old. Krabmeat ravioli was everything but good. Soggy, and the ratio of the cream cheese to crabmeat was terrible. Half of the raviolis didn 't even have crab. Soups were decent, but the clear soup I ordered had 4 mushrooms that were paper thin. Not happy there. Won 't go back, and I recommend you don 't even waste your money here."

"The customer service was absolutely extraordinary, leaving me feeling valued and well taken care of, althought the wait at times is a bit long. The Ribeye Steam was an absolute delight, with its tender and flavorful meat that left me craving for more. The hibachi chicken was outstanding. The drink selection was extensive and offered a wide range of options to satisfy any preference. Don't miss out on the Oreo Cheesecake and Warm Chocolate Cake they were pure indulgence! The only slight drawback was the price, which could be on the higher side. Nevertheless, I personally recommend Frenasia."

"This rather empty boite is beautifully appointed. The food is well done, the staff good, the WiFi fast. The dumpling sampler was disappointing, but the plum wine was excellent, and the kung pao chicken was good. The rice should be fresher, so it isn't tough. The fact that they also serve a separate crab seafood menu is bizarre but welcoming. It is essentially two restaurants in one.Parking: The parking lot is adjacent and under an adjoining residential tower. The exit is by the restaurant. The entrance is further down."

"Talk about a meal and a show!! If you haven 't been here you have to try it at least once. This particular Samurai has been here for years. The food is delicious!! They make the rice with garlic butter and then they serve you these two side sauces...I always only get double portions of the shrimp sauce. I think it 's a shrimp-based sauce. I 'll have to ask next time I 'm there. From the moment you walk in to see the friendly face behind the counter, to the table server, runner, and chef it 's an experience you 'll never forget. You can take a date, family, friends, or even go solo. The table is set up in such a way that even if you go solo you won 't be dining alone. I usually order the lunch combo with chicken and shrimp. The meal comes with a side of soup or salad, mushrooms (yum), veggies, chicken or veggie fried rice or you can order good old white rice. The salad has this ginger dressing that is to die for. The soup is delicious as well except that when it 's for lunch you have to pick one or the other (soup or salad). Whichever one you choose trust me you won 't be disappointed. For dinner, you do get both the soup and salad so you get the best of both worlds. Plus it doesn 't matter if it 's lunch or dinner the portions are very hearty. It doesn 't seem like it at first but once you have all of the food on your plate you realize it 's plenty of it. The only downfall is the heat/vapor, and you 'll walk out smelling like you just prepared your meal but you 'll leave happy. As my grandma used to say, Full belly, happy heart."

"we're going to sushi. it is the best option in the opposite. I just wish they hadn't started mixing Tempoura crumbs in spicky roll filling, we stopped ordering them since. "I visited the restaurant late on a Saturday night and found that we were the only patrons there. I really loved the decor. The menu was extensive, particularly the sushi section, but there were also plenty of Chinese and Thai options. I ordered the kicked tofu and the Tokyo roll, which included tuna, yellowtail, and avocado, while my friend chose the crab rangoon and pad Thai. We both thought everything was delicious. The service was incredibly fast and attentive, although that might have been due to the lack of other customers. They offered a wide variety of dishes as well."

"The staff here are very kind. Especially the sushi chefs behind the bar. No complaints with the staff at all. The restaurant is clean. However, the only reason I gave 3 stars was because after eating here my husband and I weren’t feeling well. Ourstomachs were so upset. We shared two rolls between the two of us…the Boston roll and jingle bell roll. Not sure if fish wasbad but we weren’t well that evening and in the bathroom a lot."
