"Thanks to online reviews we found this diamond-in-the-rough. I've traveled I-10 for years and never had much luck eating in Ft Stockton. This time it was different! Excellent homemade foods that do not taste as if it came from a freezer. The burgers were excellent and the rolls on which they were were perhaps better than the burger itself. I had the butterfly shrimp and was impressed by taste and tenderness. The homemade chips and salsa were even very good compared to the standards of El Paso and San Antonio. The service was also good. The chips and salsa took something because they were freshly roasted chips. The food took a good time, but not enough to get my 2 years old to get restless. Also, we appeared shortly before closing and they were really happy that we made it instead of grim and frustrated. A big bonus was the number of parking spaces on the back for our huge moving truck with trailer. We will definitely stop here again!"
