"We decided to dine at this Greek restaurant because my friend has a gluten intolerance. This was one of the few Greek places she could eat at without worrying about gluten. In addition, the food was delicious and even as someone who loves gluten, it didn't bother me at all."

"I can't say enough good things about the smells of the kitchen here. 1. visit here and it was a memorable one. all we had, tasted phenomenal, the aromen danced only on their back, so our palate was completely satisfied. from the fetaries to the red Snapper special I had not cook this good house style in one dae. the snapper was so well done and it felt like cooking moms. the Gyro meat was one of the best I tried and was populated with taste. they also have a good wine selection. a must try if they are in a neighbor"

"My wife surprised me for my birthday and reserved 10/9 for dinner. This was the first time dining at this establishment and we were very pleased! We started off with a bottle of sparkling Pelligrino and my wife had a Kentucky honey cocktail which she enjoyed. I asked for 2 beers on the menu but they came back twice to inform out of stock of both. The remaining beers were Heineken and Corona which are very mainstream and I do not enjoy so asked for Bullitt Bourbon on the rocks, can't go wrong with this. They brought out fresh bread with an olive spread that was delicous. For starters we ordered the charred octopus with red wine dressing, arugula, roasted peppers and capers. It was so good and charred, we wanted to reorder. Next, we ordered the steak tartare which was a first for me as I was feeling adventurous. It was incredible and would order again!! It is dry aged sirloin, a Dijon mustard and scallion oil with szechuan pepper and a tiny quail egg for richness. We also ordered a 1/2 dozen of east coast oysters and it was also incredible. Came with the typical cocktail sauce, horseradish, Worcestershire and lemon wedges. The main course was the porterhouse for 2 which we ordered medium. From experience in other steakhouses, you order medium and it comes medium rare which was the case here but no complaints. Quality of beef outstanding! We ordered the truffle fries and asparagus to accompany the steak and enjoyed tremendously! Besides the 2 selections of beer I really wanted not being stocked, it's a 5 star establishment."

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. I would recommend not ordering the soup, as both the white bean and potato leek soups were not very good. The white bean soup was okay, but the potato leek soup was lacking in flavor and was too thin and oily. The TV screens behind the bar were also a distraction from the overall ambiance. Other than these two issues, everything else was perfect. I highly recommend trying the chocolate mousse for dessert, it was amazing."

"Good wine, good dessert. Good service. The food was giving strip mall cafeteria. I ordered the salmon dinner, the grilled eggplant, and spanakopita. Appetizers were decent, though a bit generic. The dinner was nothing to talk about. A bit overpriced to be honest, though I would not have complained if the food were better."

"had an excellent outdoor terrace dinner on a beautiful maiabend. alita, our server, was fabulous as the other coworkers, and eating was delicious! we had 4 adult guests, each with separate entrees:1) souvlaki with reispilaf and vegetables (same for all entrees; see below)2 rests leber and swirl with twice baked kartoffel and reispilaf, plus perfectly sawed zucchini, summersquash, carrots and red paprika) gyro with reispilaf I skip the dolmades to these three mini entrees: moussaka, pasticcio, and 2 lambs, plus reispilaf and vegetables. these 4 dishes are on the photos. three of us shared the hot appetizer plated, the 2 had each of: spanikopita, grilled garnels in wee sauce, and the amazing fried cheese (nearly, before serving, put a drop,! stuffed, then cut into 6 pieces). everything was carefully and perfectly prepared, with rich aromas and diverse textures. brot was also wonderful. the servings were so generous that we get each one, two or even three further meal times from each of the participants, so factor that in price assessments! great way to the 90. to celebrate my mother (she is on the photo.) for anyone who is willing to eat in the interior, the COVID risk is somewhat minimized by completely vaccinating the entire personal (but exposed) and excellent air filter system (banners on the building to advertise it.)"

"Super delicious! A little pricy and not big portions but outstanding quality. The bread is on point too. Fancy decor, great service, good ambiance. The cocktails were good! Beef medallions the best I ever had. Pasta with shrimp had depth, layers of flavor. Octopus appetizer scrumptious! Well built Greek menu I could not pronounce but I liked the authenticity. Will definitely go back. Need to try the Greek wine..."

"From the moment we walked in, we were greeted immediately with a happy face warm welcome! Our food came out pretty quickly, and our waiter was excellent! Our meals tasted great the portion size was quiet generous. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any of our friends family travelling to New York."

"We had a good meal over the holiday season. We were the ONLY people in the entire restaurant. The portions are BIG. The lamb kabob was great while the chicken and pork were good. We loved a feta cheese in phylo dough with honey. However the big miss was the octopus. It was a huge serving but grossly overcooked and chewy. The waitress was very cordial. However at the end of the meal it was surprising that since we were the only people in the entire restaurant that i literally had to go the the reception area to ask for the check because she was MIA. Overall, we suspect that the main chef was not working that night accounting for the glitches but it was a nice and better option compared to other local greek restaurants like Arpeggio ."

So goodKid-friendliness: Welcoming atmosphere and I think it's family owned.Parking: Reserved 30-minute restaurant parking right in front of the store plus additional parking in the plaza."

"We heard about Anemos in Astoria NY all the way up in Montreal Canada from friends who attended a party night. We also read the ratings from other visitors on google. Although not very busy on that night, we felt the house band brought us back to Greece with their choice of songs. Usually a house band has its challenges with sound, the sound tech for this band was great. World-class performance, great looking singers, impeccable sound. We will definitely be back."

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This place doesn 't seem to want your business. They turned us away nearly 30 minutes prior to closing time. A sweet server welcomed us when what appeared to be the owner said No, only take out at this time when there were people dining inside. Heis a nasty old man (sorry to sound ageist because I 'm not far behind, but it 's true. It 's not the first time we encountered boorish behavior, not by a long shot, but this was the last straw. Screw this joint. Drive anywhere you must to NOT give them a dime."

"Easily the best Greek restaurant in Alberta. My second time eating here, this time with a large group of business colleagues they accommodated wonderfully. The food is spectacular! Authentic Greek dishes made with love. A wonderful old-school family owned restaurant with first rate service. The...ambience is fun Greek decor and music. Even on a cold prairie day, you can feel the warm sun of Cyprus here. Pro tip: the roast lamb is to die for. And go for the Taverna tasting menu, but being a big appetite!"
