"AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This place doesn 't seem to want your business. They turned us away nearly 30 minutes prior to closing time. A sweet server welcomed us when what appeared to be the owner said No, only take out at this time when there were people dining inside. Heis a nasty old man (sorry to sound ageist because I 'm not far behind, but it 's true. It 's not the first time we encountered boorish behavior, not by a long shot, but this was the last straw. Screw this joint. Drive anywhere you must to NOT give them a dime."

Consistently delicious! I go weekly for 7 years and always have a delicious meal. Chicken Santorini, Roasted Eggplant and Moussaka are highly recommend. Octopus is exquisite. Fries done right. Mythos beer is crisp and refreshing.

Normally I live the food and it’s very consistent. Tonight it was totally different. The orzo had no flavor, the Hummus was dry and extra garlicky and the salad dressing had no flavor and there was no lemon in the lemon potatoes. Very disappointing.Food: 3/5

Ordered shrimp gyro and mahi gyro wonderful dinner and so delicious . This gave us an idea ordered catering for our family. It’s all Greek suggested setting up a GYRO station, our family never agrees but this meal was finally a happy family day, yielded a pleasant day with these folks. It’s all Greek brought us all together such a pleasant day. Great Eats great people at reasonable prices, from chicken, gyro meat and spinach pie, hummus, tiziki sauce.

"Decent at best. That’s all really. It is very noisy- by design. Look up and you’ll see why. The ceiling is designed to carry the noise from the bar throughout the restaurant. And honestly I don’t care to listen to the bumpin music they’re playing at the bar when we’re at our booth 50+ feet away. It is also very dim. Extremely poor lighting, according to our waitress (who was very nice) this is also by design because other diners have made comment about this too and she said she’s mentioned it and the feedback she gets is “it creates the ambience.” Yeah okay…… “ambience.” The food is decent at best. Caesar salad was pretty good. But what is up with the streak being doused in butter? There was a pool of butter on my plate around my steak. Is the lighting dim in the kitchen too? Can the chefs not see what they’re doing? All in all, New York Prime is not any better than Morton’s or The Capital Grille. In fact, we probably should have gone to one of those two. There’s nothing New York about this restaurant at all. After returning home we decided to check out New York Prime’s website and read their menu story about how “New York Prime is a different kind of steakhouse.” If you ever want a laugh, read that. You’ll tear up, it’s hilarious. Proprietors seem very full of themselves! Anyway, we were very unimpressed, will definitely not be returning."
