"Beatrix isn't your average restaurant. It's a chameleon, effortlessly shifting from sun-drenched brunch haven to chic bistro as the day melts into dusk. I've popped in for both, and let me tell you, this place has serious charm in every iteration. The menu is a celebration of fresh, seasonal ingredients. My go-to? The ricotta and lemon pancakes. They're pillowy soft, infused with a hint of citrus, and practically melt in your mouth. Don't even get me started on the housemade strawberry jam – it's like sunshine on a spoon. As the day deepens, Beatrix transforms into a cozy oasis. String lights twinkle overhead, casting a warm amber glow, and the chatter softens to a gentle hum. It's the perfect setting for an intimate dinner date or a catch-up with friends. The dinner menu is a touch more refined, but still playful. I devoured the pan-roasted chicken with root vegetables and a decadent truffle glaze – it was pure comfort food heaven. And let's not forget the cocktails – the grapefruit Paloma is a tart and refreshing masterpiece. But Beatrix is more than just good food (although, that's definitely a major draw). It's the little things that make the experience special. The staff is friendly and attentive, always there with a smile and a refill. And the open kitchen adds a touch of theater to the whole affair – it's mesmerizing to watch the chefs work their magic. P.S. Don't leave without trying a slice of their famous caramel pie. It's gooey, it's salty, it's perfection. You'll thank me later."

"Stone brewery in Escondido is a magical place. Our friends and family had talked about how great it was for years. Today we saw the magic. The most interesting part is that the brewery is hidden below a street and it looks like a parking lot with a building. Then open the door and you can't believe what you see! The interior and exterior seats are amazing. Inside and outside the view is beautiful. Large plants and trees and ponds filled with koi fish of all colors. Everywhere you see the foliage is soothing and makes you relax and enjoy the environment. The food is delicious. We started with roasted Brussels sprouts with kun pao sauce and peanuts. An interesting combination that creates a good treat. The onion rings were boiled in a delicious beer batter and were crunchy and delicious. After dinner you walk through the grounds and see the ponds and you will see all this interesting property. It is the perfect place for an event and there were many people meeting for business travelers, special occasions and just a relaxing meal. The staff was attentive and quick and helpful. Beer is their know-how and they have 36 craft and special beer on Hahn. The choices of beer are amazing, check out the menu or ask her great staff for the best. They're all good. The experience is spectacular. The interior and exterior seats have views everywhere. The outdoor seats are beside Koi ponds, magnificent leaves, ponds, hiking trails and are relaxing. We were there a weekday and it was packed. Everyone was relaxed and we felt no pressure to overthrow our table. The service was excellent with warm and perky, pleasantly excellent servers. We talked to other people at tables and usually came far away, including us. The brewery was on our Bucket list because family and friends all love it here. We understand it now and we will come back. Enjoy the food and bask in the incredible surroundings."
