"The starters and service was good. The main course fillet was ok but the tomahawk was the worst steak I have had for years. When lived in nyc in 2022 and 2023, Bowery was my go to place but no more.....did hear from manager that they would look into but since then silence. Guess a fish rots from the top. Pity"

"the food was good, but the service was at best unstoppable. we were not greeted with any hallo or name, but do they want a drink? waited 15 minutes for a cocktail that another server brought to us. we were not offered any insights into the menu and the one question I asked was answered, I like that huh we had ordered three small plates, of which we had asked to garnish, but no one has ever checked us until it was time to get out. the same with the escaped, no quality control until I have also stopped the server to ask a box. we sat beside a dirty table all the meal, although we were one of only 5 tables in the restaurant. after our meal we were looking forward to dessert and cappuccinos, but as the menu in the middle of the table unceremoniell we decided we had enough. we paid and left. we spent $100 per head and were treated with edgeline decaine. this is one that is crossed by the list."

"Our early Saturday brunch experience was excellent. The food was marvelous. Our waitress was pleasantly attentive. We ordered some to take with us and she brought it out when we were finished along with our nicely boxed leftovers. Just wish Metropole would reopen for breakfast on weekdays."

"the room is beautiful, alive, welcoming and they really feel that this could be something special. our server, kevin, was excellent and attentive. the room is hardwood, hard brick and glass making this overcrowded restaurant noise level most loud the room could be possible. adding the piped in the music makes communication difficult. the food was disappointing and should have been the star in comparison to the room. the menu offers two price points for entrees, 20-30 and 30-55. in portions are modest, which is ok, but eating is lacking consistency. both couples ordered the vegetable brand and bronzino. the vegetable tagine was made clear in the same pot. my friend has all the fun I got, above all, broth. the bronzino was a single filet in contrast to a single fish. it was served in under seasonal vegetables. I might have thought a night for the kitchen, but we have heard similar feedback from other friends who have tried it. it just doesn't hit the hype and I won't be back."

"Our server, Allyson, was a delight, and our meal quite splendid. We both loved the Autumn Salad and the halibut (perfectly cooked). The key lime dessert wasn't bad, but didn't actually taste like key lime and involved a little too many colors and flavors on the plate. Festive, but a little too neon... All in all, a really perfect place to celebrate our 47th anniversary!"

"this small restaurant is a hidden gem in the inner city of salt lake city. I was there in the city for the Christmas concert in the conference center and every restaurant near city creek had a 3 hour (or more) wait to get a table. then my wife remembered that we had breakfast in the hotel marriott when we were there earlier this year. we went in 2 minutes from the city creek mall and sat immediately. the food was cheap and tasted super. we had a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed it. we'll be back."

"Celebrated with cousin on her wedding anniversary. Bill came out to about $600+ for 6 adults. Asked for medium on the steaks but all came out pretty ****. They had pre-cut the steaks for us prior to serving so the chef should’ve been able to see how raw it was. Did not bother sending it back. Not sure if we’d go back again. Service was excellent but food was just mediocre."

"Tamayo was pretty busy when we showed up at 630 on a friday night considering game 5 of the Avalanche finals was just about to start down the street...we got a nice booth table inside right away. Now I've walked by here many times and have always wanted to bring my boyfriend here so we were excited to finally have gotten the chance! Waters and menus came quickly, we ordered and the appetizer came quick too....this is were my only complaint came...our appetizer was delivered and right after our first bite the main course came...talk about rushing... Anyway, the bacon guacamole was so good...nice garnished and a very nice presentation...the other minor complaint started with the app and moved into entree...this is a mexican restaurant...everything we had was garnished with parsley...not cilantro...maybe a supply chain issue? Our tacos were nice looking and very tasty...I ordered the Mahi Mahi and he had the pork with the pineapple...we shared and both were very tasty! Dinner for 2 with only water was a touch over 40 bucks. We are likely to return when we are on that side of the city!"

"1st visit for the 4 of us and we'd all been wanting to go here. We were not disappointed! It's a contemporary American spot with excellent food the menu varies by season. Our server, Hannah G. was over the top excellent! Our reservation was at 6 pm, and 1 of us was there early while the happy hour menu was still available. She was intrigued by a happy hour appetizer, chorizo empanadas, but wasn't sure the rest of us would want it. Our server put in an order for that, just in case! The rest of us wanted to try it, she brought it out, and it was delicious! Our server was the perfect level of friendly and attentive and paced everything perfectly. The food was very good, especially the halibut and the cauliflower curry. The only negative and one that's not under their control we wanted to sit outside, but traffic noise from Halsted made conversation difficult at times."

"I've always believed that atmosphere sells an establishment. The atmosphere here is awesome, a comfortable tavern like feel with very cool decor. Biggest contributor to the atmosphere is the wait staff, they were great, attentive without being over-bearing. Just a calm casual place to enjoy a drink and relax!"

"Good food and location but don't be fooled by the web site they don't read anything you write except time and number in your party. We informed them that we wanted an outside table and that we were celebrating a special occasion but when we got there, and they had given both outside tables away, the manager confessed that they were not informed about either. He said we should instead call to get our message through but I did call and only got a recording. It was the second time this happened both the calling and recording and their failure to know that we requested the table the web site does not connect this info to the management so bad on me for thinking that they would have gotten it right.Oh and the outside table opened up but we never got moved to it even thought we asked times.Too bad,gregg"

"We had to stop here for breakfast for lack of time and I’m glad we did. Outside of the waitresses having a bit of attitude and being a little pushy to try and get us to order the buffet it was a good experience. Not everyone needs all you can eat and most often it’s a waste of money. I felt like they had quite a few options and as far as hotel hot buffets go, the food looked appetizing and my kids were happy. Two different kinds of sausage, omelets to order, smoothie shots and berry parfaits were among the options. I ordered the oatmeal with various toppings and enjoyed it. The waitress redeemed herself by providing kids to go cups and facilitating a speedy check out."

"This restaurant is amazing, all drinks are so good the food was super good environment I love it the only thinking that I didn't like was the server they didn't speak English and they didn't know about the items in the menu I asked them about the sauce of the New York steak, they didn't know that she took too long to bring the drinks to my table she went around my table and she didn't see to remove the plate or to remove the water nicely, but the rest was super nice back"

"From beginning to end this experience was impeccable! The server, Austin, is beyond phenomenal! He was highly attentive, friendly, his service was absolutely extraordinary! Brunch is offered all day the outdoor seating options are excellent! Plus heating lamps are available give off most heat to those sitting directly under/adjacent to them. The prices were reasonable the food was delicious (vegan chili cheese fries pictured here)! It was a treat to dine here, thank you Austin!!"

"The ambiance is definitely classy and upscale so I expect so much more from this restaurant. Customer service was a bit lacking. The waiter seems like he was new and was forgetting to ask basic things like asking how I wanted my steak cooked before walking off. It was a very weird vibe that I couldn't put my finger on. The food was mediocre. The Petite filet was dry, over cooked and under seasoned. The cognac sauce and potatoes it came with were a delicious though. The Risotto faired a bit better and was actually very tasty with the scallops and shrimp. The NY strip was seasoned well and had the best potatoes of all 3 steak dishes. The shrimp cocktail was good as well and the cocktail sauce seemed freshly made. The salmon roll had no structural integrity. It presented well but basically crumbled as soon as it was picked up. It also sat for a bit and had gotten warm. But now to the wonderfully presented Heaven's Sakura, a $17 drink. The drink's presentation is gorgeous and you just know it's gonna be amazing...yea no. This drink either needs to be taken back to the drawing board or removed from the menu forever. This drink was DISGUSTING and was only finished because it was $17. It tasted like a drink you would mix as a kid on a dare. The crunch bar was the only thing on the menu I truly enjoyed it was delicious! I don't think I will be coming back since first impressions are everything and Gerrard's didn't pass the vibe check."

"Was very excited to try this for brunch but it took us 15 minutes to get greeted, 30-40 minutes four our two juices and two coffees and another hour for our very simple breakfast order. The restaurant was not that busy, so it was unfortunate we had to wait this long. Our waiter was courteous and provided updates on the wait time so I do not believe it was his fault. The food was very good, my husband was a little disappointed with his Belgian waffle order. It was a single Belgian waffle with chocolate chips sprinkled on top. I enjoyed the French toast, delicious. Our friends both enjoyed the classic breakfast and the Croque Madame. Overall I think the food was a little overpriced, but would definitely return at night for drinks and the view!"

"Returned here after we had a really nice evening a few years ago. Something must have changed in management or concept. The man greeting us at the door was wearing an old worn sweater and old used jeans. The waiter was friendly and competent although a second waiter (not wearing any “official” clothes) approached us 2 times asking for things the normal waiter had already asked us. She was not impolite or something! The whole situation just seemed kind of “uncoordinated”. The food was okay not a blast but decent food for the pricing range."
