A refreshing mix of shrimp, calamari, and octopus tossed with fresh greens and a zesty citrus dressing.

"First time I had ever been to this restaurant. Fantastic food, service, drinks. I am already thinking when can I go back. And if you can't find parking in the street....the municipal lot is on the same block. We sat right by the doors which opened onto the street...just a fantastic place. Go!"

"My wife and I visited Cafe Milano and the experience was wonderful. The service was exceptional and the owner was very friendly telling us about his specials. The melenzane was delicious. The eggplant was cut thin and the sauce was very tasty. Our entrees were veal dishes and the veal was cut thin, very tender and flavorful. Finally, the homemade Italian cheese cake was out of the world. Make sure you ask what specials Pasquale has made because everything he makes is delicious."

"WE go there about once or twice a year for the past 3-4 years and loved the experience. This time we walked up and it had a B rating. We shrugged our shoulders and went in figuring that they would have taken care of any problems. We both had our hearts set on the Osso Buco. After we sat down they waiter came over and said it was 7:00pm) they were out of the Osso Buco and out of Veal. My wife and I looked at each other and decided to leave. It 's a shame because we have had some good diners there and the ambiance is good. I hope they fix their B rating and I 'll definitely call ahead to see if they have the Osso Buco. Despite our one bad experience out of probably a dozen other times give them a try. Normally it is a very good experience."

"Cute place with great service and great food. There were 3 amuse which I think is quite a lot consider we ordered 4 cause menu. The eel was very tasty, loved it. I'm not a big fan of venison but their venison is the best I tasted so far. They have some interesting wine choices too, give them a try."

"I go back and forth, but land on a solid 4 stars for our experience at Giuseppe Sons. We were there in April 2023, and it appeared much of the upstairs and some downstairs was under construction. In the main room, we were greeted by many friendly staff. The large room is loud and dimly lit so be prepared. It was a very confusing mix of people some young high school age kids, some older groups of women, many family dinners, a lot of dates. All probably because this is one of the reasonable Italian restaurants in the city which brings a wide crowd. When we were first sat, we weren’t acknowledged for quite some time, but that aside the overall experience was pleasant and hence the 4.Now the food! Well executed Italian food. They delivered. Something very important They do NOT accept changes to their dishes (I asked to add more protein to a pasta that was on another dish and they would not accommodate), so just be aware of that.If you are hungry and/or have a big party, highly recommend the Chefs tasting menu for $55. Five courses, they portion it out for the table (everyone is required to participate and agree on the five dishes), and it is a substantial amount of food. Worth your money if again you’re really hungry. A la carte is also great. Highly recommend the Sunday gravy as well as the rigatoni alla vodka. The octopus appetizer was more beans and fennel than octopus but the flavor was great for what we had.Solid meal. Well executed. Will be back with the expectations on experience in mind."

"Came in at 845 with a party of 5 for my birthday gathering. Love a mom and pop shop Italian restaurant, so decided to try this place out. Atmosphere is nice. Warm lighting, good dynamics for catching up. Reminds me of decor in my Italian grandma’s house (in a good way). However, the servers were extremely cold, visibly irritated, unfriendly and inattentive right from the start. We were the only ones in there and they barely made an effort. We weren’t overbearing or demanding. Honestly, just wanted the bare minimum without feeling like an inconvenience. At one point, they leaned over and just stared at our table waiting for us to leave (it wasn’t even 10p). Food was decent. Bread was fresh and warm. Vodka sauce was tasty but my meatballs were lukewarm. Was too uncomfortable to ask them to heat them up. Cute place but wouldn’t return based on how bad service was and uncomfortable it made us. I’m very fair when it comes to restaurants and I wanted to like it, but the service needs an attitude adjustment. Get new staff."

"Roma is in Oakville, CT makes it right every time! A great restaurant, always clean with polite, friendly overwhelming staff as well as hospitable owners make every experience A! I've been here last week, it was 100% spot on! From the amazing apps (Long Hot Peppers, Shrimp Cocktail, Squash Flowers Figs) to my entree (her famous Pork Chop with hot peppers) it was not better! Absolutely worth the trip!"

"We had a reservation for 8pm and they sat us down at 8:45. It was as if we came in without reservations. The hostess, a young blonde girl, was rude to us when we first got there. She told us to wait outside in the cold for the rest of our party even though most of us were there. We were only waiting on 2 more. Once everyone got there, she sat the reservation that got there later than us FIRST, so we waited even longer. After that, she complained to us about other customers. She said they'd been there for 3 hours and that it wasn't her fault that we hadn't been seated yet (true, we weren't blaming her. Her attitude is what caused the issues. It was a bad experience. A hostess should not talk about seated customers to other customers. It's not classy. There's almost no vegan options and the waiters are not knowledgeable about the food. I had to go back and forth with my waitress to find a dish for me. Their menus don't have any disclaimers for allergies or whether it's vegetarian/vegan. I had the vegetable soup since that's the first thing they could come up with that would be altered to be vegan. It was okay. One of the people in my party threw up her food later in the night (carbonara since it wasn't cooked properly. I also had the spicy margarita, which was surprisingly spicy. I liked it. Overall, way too expensive since the food isn't prepared too well, it is not accessible, and service is not classy."

"We had a delicious meal at Sergio’s. We lived in the area for a while and I can't believe we haven't been there yet. The service was friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was beautiful. Will definitely go back."

"We went there with a little trepidation after reading many of the negative reviews about the level of service, time for food etc so we had very low expectations. But we had a very pleasant experience so all in all we need not have worried about service at all.The staff were super friendly, very attentive and patient. I was totally surprised that our drink order was delivered even while we're just ordering it so definitely their service/speed has improved dramatically.Let's get the downside of this restaurant out of the way expect to pay more than your average chain restaurants. A lot more it is expensive. Now for the pizza it was amazing. Reminded me immediately of the pizza that we had in Italy. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. After almost 30 years in Chicago and eating deep dish, I am at a point where I much prefer the floppy NY style pizza or the Italian style. Napoli Per Tutti reminded me so much of Italy. We paid a little over $100 for 3 pizzas, bruschetta+ 2 Italian fizzy drinks. All in all a very pleasant experience with great food"

"This restaurant offers authentic Italian pizzas made with imported ingredients. While the vegan options aren't clearly labeled on the menu, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, ready to discuss what dishes are available for those seeking plant-based choices. They have two types of crust: a thick, chewy style and a thin, crispy option. The seemingly simple marinara pizza is surprisingly flavorful and comes at a great price! This review was updated from the previous one on June 20, 2019."

"I visited Fortissimo for the first time to try their pizza. I also had their penne arrabbiata. The Arrabbiata was delicious. The pizza was very good and crispy . I give the pizza an 8.5 out of 10. I am not a professional pizza grader but it was very tasty and cooked very good. The cook gets an A+. The prompt service was also something to note, Alexis was my server and she was kind and always checked on me. I also received the dinner check when I asked for it. The quality service gets an A+. The plates, utensils and glasses get an A+ for being very clean. Overall Fortissimo gets a solid A+. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting West Orange NJ."

"Lago never disappoints. We were in town for my birthday and convention. Booked our reservation on Open Table and Lago got us in before our time slot even though it was packed. Dinner, drinks and service were top notch. We even got a window table which made a great dinner even better. We will be back next trip to Vegas."

"My partner couldn’t stop raving about this place from his many visits to New York and despite an abundance of good Italian places to eat in Mulberry Street, I bowed to his judgement and dined in.Spaghetti and meatballs for him, Veal Cardinale for me (which translates to veal scallopine with prosciutto, roasted red peppers and mozzarella in light tomato and wine sauce. But first the bread. A slightly pizza ish bread that had a snappy tang, served with butter oh I do love Italian food. We chose a bottle of George Wyndham Shiraz 2015 which had a rich flavour that was about to complement the meal beautifully. Our meals arrived and the portion sizes were perfect for our appetite. We met the owner Pellegrino and he shared some of his story and time in New York.An all round great meal for our last night in the city that never sleeps.Notes: dine in or outside under cover, vegetarian choices available, kid friendly, wheelchair accessible, staff were efficient and friendly.#thewanderingreviewer #lanonnanewyork #lanonnamulberrystreet #newyorkitalianfood #mulberrystreetrestaurant #lanonnapellegrinaWe will return."

"So my friend wanted to come here for his birthday so we gave it a try. I made reservations online and had to put my card on file to hold the reservation. When we arrived I had to circle the block a couple times to find parking but found something eventually. When we walked in I told the hostess my name and she sat us. We were served by a nice waiter and I totally forgot his name which was terrible. This spot is BYOB which we didn't know so I had to run out to buy a bottle to our liking. They also have a service where you can order from a particular location and they deliver. When I got back I was ready to order. For appetizers we got calamari and it was very tasty and well seasoned. For our entrées I got the squid ink pappardelle with shrimp and crab ragu and my friend ordered the hanger steak. The appetizer came out rather quick but our entrées took forever to come out. Luckily we had our wine to sip on to pass time. When the food finally arrived I will say it was worth the wait. I loved the pasta and tasted the steak and that was pretty good too. For dessert we had zeppoles with nutella and blueberry dipping sauce. We had a good time and more than likely we will be back."
