"I showed up and didn’t get attended for 30 minutes and I’ve eaten here one other time, and I know my orders because it’s the same in every place that has pasta, and it’s anything with Alfredo sauce, this time the waiter gets to me and says there isn’t any, and walked away and didn’t come back for another 30 minutes, then a different waiter walks by with fettuccine Alfredo, so I went and asked him, and of course he said they had it, so then I went to lady that led us to our table and brought this all to her, just for her to go and ask the first dude and get the same answer of, no there is no Alfredo sauce, very poor service from a restaurant in this location."

"We had a nice time at dinner but I'm just shocked at the prices of everything. I had a bowl of angel hair pasta with marinara sauce and a couple pieces of cut up asparagus and I paid over $25.00, my husband had pesto fettuccine with sausage and he found the sausage to be dry and not good. The dinner special was a whitefish with mashed potatoes and asparagus and I usually never ask how much but did this time and it was $48.00...really? Happy hour there is always good but we won't be back for dinner. Service was great and it's not the fault of the waiters...dinner for 3 with one person drinking water, a house wine and a beer and it was over $200.00."

"Could not find my reservation although I got several confirmations. That took so long that they would not honor the Early Bird dinner menu. Food was unremarkable and expensive. Will not return"

"This is the best Italian food you can find in South Florida! I was in Italy and the food is not better than here. We have ordered so many dishes here and each one of them is excellent. You really care about a high end. The parking lot is limited on the street, but the Valet is a nice option. Locals go from the beautiful neighborhoods nearby. Update: The last time we were, they tried to push us to turn the table. Some of our foods removed while we eat. Absolutely terrible service last time. 4 stars to lose because we usually get better service."

"Our waitress, Rita, was very helpful at suggesting choices. We decided on the Restaurant Week menu. The appetizer with Calamari was very large. The Burette the same could share. The Rockfish was very generous and great! We also enjoyed the bread served with olive oil we added a side of bolognese for dipping — so good! The only suggestion to management is for a dimmer dining room lighting. Too much lighting for “date night”"

"Passed by this place several times and decided to try it. We were surprised with how big it is inside with more seating upstairs. Food was great! We had spaghetti and meatballs and a white pizza with chicken and arugula; excellent flavor on both and we learned how tasty a coal-fired pizza can be! Excellent service and ambiance was great, especially for groups."

"Food and service were very good. Nothing was spectacular, but all of the dishes were solid. If you’re in the mood for some good Italian, give this place a shot."

"we literally tried to go here three times and missed their opening times each time. - admittedly our fault in planning, lol. finally! he was there at 3:30 a.m. on Mother's Day and wanted to wait until they opened at 4 a.m. patio is first come first serve, btw. we ordered a few great glasses wein, the grilled artichoke hearts and a margarita pizza. everything was cooked and perfectly seasoned! pizza crust was delicious, crisp and done in the middle (one of my sticky points on pizza). the service was top notch. everyone there, from the host, to the bartender and waiter, knew very attentively what they did. also have to mention the atmosphere. inside, so cozy and sweet! the terrace is the showtopper. Tables on the stone terrace are protected by beautiful landscape design from the road and the tables below the large tree are amazing. I'm with a pick-up for the lights hanging on the tree. I'm sure it's magical at night. great experience! we will definitely be back!"

"Had big expectations for JF. Friends were in from Europe and my wife and I wanted to take them to a great SF experience. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left JacksonFilmore disappointed. The maitre'd was rude when we arrived and made us feel as if we were putting them off by arriving at 7 pm (for a 7pm reservation! The table was fine, but it took innapropriately long for the waiter to come for drink/appetizer order. The appetizers arrived reasonably fast and were overall fine, although the fried calamari was very fishy and slightly undercooked. I didnt say anything but was definitely not impressed. From the time the appetizers were removed to the time our mains arrived, at least 30 minutes had passed. I was forced to ask where our food was as there were barely any other guests (Sunday evening at 7pm and it was unclear as to why it took as long as it did. Perhaps they were cleaning the kitchen? Worse, however, was that after the delay in our food's arrival, my pasta was clearly not the correct order. I confirmed with the couple next to us as they had ordered the same dish as I had (and it looked completely different . When I asked the waitress, at first she lied that what was delivered was correct...until I pointed out the neighbor table. At this point she admitted they had run out of the pasta I ordered (a specialty . I told her they should have informed me immediately that this dish was no longer available. She offered to get me something else, however as the food had already taken over 30 minutes to arrive, I declined this offer. At no point did they apologize, did a manager come by, or offer a complimentary dessert, etc. VERY disappointing. Jackson Filmore has a great reputation however the food was unremarkable and the service was terrible. I will not return and I hope my review is read and considered when people book. There are dozens of restaurants that would be appreciative of your business and offer better food."

"This place is one of the many GEMS in San Francisco! If you’re looking for a great dinner, with FRESH food, excellent service, delicious recipes, and perfect portions, THIS IS THE PLACE. I’m not much of a Lamb eater, but the Costoletta di Vitello is a MUST TRY for all meat lovers. The Chicken Marsala was also a hit, and don’t forget to get a slice of Tiramisu before you leave or you WILL REGRET IT. I definitely recommend eating here and will definitely be returning on my next trip to San Francisco. Thank you for your food and your service Ristorante Milano!"

"This is my first time at the restaurant, and I did enjoy the total experience overall. Of all the meals I enjoyed mine the tortellini in cream sauce the least, as it was a little too rich for my taste, and bordered on being salty. My other dining companion had tortellini and pesto sauce, which I thought was good, but she thought it was a bit too grainy for her. My partner had linguine Pescatore which was very good. The bruschetta they serve complementary at the beginning of the meal was delicious and we also had the antipasto salad and calamari, which was also stellar. I would come back here to try some of their other dishes. The Server did not tell us about the specials and we ended up seeing them by happenstance over the bar on the glass mirror and it would’ve been nice to have known them even though we wouldn’t have ordered those particular ones for the evening."

"We were attracted to the German food which is rare in Manhattan. My guest and I tried the jaeger schnitzel and the sausage combo. Quite good. Many patrons were having pasta and pizza from the Italian portion of the menu. The meat portions are huge. Brought home the leftovers for another meal the next day. Next time I will concentrate on the cucumber salad, red cabbage and potato salad. I drank a wonderful bottle of Czech Pilsner. Service is good at this casual place."

"Pizza is great we ordered a large pepperoni pizza. The crust is not too thin so that it's crunchy or too thick so that it's doughy. We ordered the individual sized linguine vongole which was also good but I don't think the clams were washed very well (I think there was still some sand). It's a great restaurant to bring visitors to experience a little bit of NY. A large pizza and individual size pasta was sufficient for 3 adults."

"It was fine, but not as great as I guess I hoped and expected. Tired, I suppose. While eating solo at the bar was fun/crowded/lively, wines by the glass were extremely mediocre, and wines by the bottle are expensive with no vintage indicated; however, there was a noice selection of half bottles. Caesar salad was unbelievably over-dressed, which was sad, because the dressing was clearly home made to order. And the famous chicken parm tasted somehow stale, as did the Italian cheesecake."

"What a great find. We had a concert on South Street so we booked this restaurant for a meal before the show. The owner is super nice and accommodating. We ordered a pizza and it tasted delicious! It was super authentic just like eating in Naples, Italy. They have plenty of seating, room for private parties and a full service bar. I would recommend this place when in this part of Philadelphia."
