"No photos unfortunately. I was here with two others earlier. Service was friendly and accommodating. We started with three appetizers and each got a main dish. I ordered a tamarind juice to drink which was slightly watered down but fine. The curry puffs with caramelized onion and sweet potato and served with a cucumber relish were fine. A bit on the sweeter end but a pretty normal version for most Thai spots. The chicken satay served with peanut sauce and the same cucumber relish as expected was a bit worse. The chicken needed to be grilled more and it was a bit bland. The deep fried marinated spare rib was easily the best of the appetizers. Nicely tender with a good amount of flavor. Not as good as some other spots I have been to but noticeably better then most and I would recommend it. My main dish was the duck noodle soup consisting of rice noodles with sliced roasted duck and bean sprouts in a Thai herbal broth. This was actually very good. Nice amount of tender duck. It was served a bit differently than other spots which usually consists of a duck leg and I almost preferred this as there were less bones. The herbal broth had a good kick to it as expected as I ordered it spicy and there was otherwise a good amount of star anise and the usual spices you find in this broth with a touch of sweetness. They also brought over some chili sauce in case I wanted to add a bit more spice. The other people had a pad Thai which looked fine and some beef basil which was also fine. The food here is fine. There are better Thai spots in the neighborhood but I would likely go back. Probably overrating at 4 stars but my main and the rather good Thai ribs, I'll bump it up but if I could give a 3.5, I would."

"I used to love this place and had been going for years. Had a terrible experience today and the way they handled it makes me not want to go back. First I ordered the Basil Fried Rice level 4 and the price is $10.99. Received the bill and it was $11.90. Gave the waitress my card and the receipt that came back after she swiped my car was for $12.93. Although not a major difference, I inquired on the new price. Was then told the difference was due to it being a credit card and if I wanted to pay the $11.90 price I would have had to pay with cash. In my opinion, that should be told to the customer prior but okay so I took my food and went home.I ordered a level 4 spice level spicy basil fried rice. When I got home there was not any spice on the rice. And the rice did not taste like it usually does and had a smell. I called to request a refund and was asked well what do you want me to do? I said I want a refund. She puts me on hold and comes back and asks was there hot sauce on the side. I said no but there usually is not hot sauce on the side, you guys usually season the food to the spice level. She then tells me, we can remake it for you. I said no thank you, the whole ordeal has put a bad taste in my mouth so I rather have a refund. She then tells me I have to bring the food back in order to get the refund. I am going to take the food back up there because I don’t want it but as the customer I should not have to waste gas to drive back up there for something that was their mistake.I definitely will not be back. I am going to try to find another thai spot or go to thai thip in north richland hills. I hate it though because I have been coming to thai riverside for almost 10 years and used to recommend this spot to others. Never again."
