"We went for lunch and enjoyed it very much even though we were keeping it light. I went with the soup special due to the weather and it was solid choice and very tasty. My wife had a salad which she enjoyed . Dessert (ice cream wrapped in pecans and chocolate sauce) was stars. The other desserts looked good too. We look forward to going back and trying some other dishes and the cafe."

"Our servers name was Mark, he was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We had the Brie app with a poached pear, incredibly with the preserves and spicy chutney. We also had the Wellington and the Grouper, both excellent. The experience was one of the best we have had this trip. We r going back for happy hour and dinner again before we leave. Thanks Martin’s. "We use to enjoy Hoffbrau. However, it’s Gond downhill. The restaurant smelled of mold and like an old bar when we walked in. The menu has been paired down and there are now few food offerings and those that are there are mostly bar type food, the drinks menu remind extensive. The food we got was not particularly good. The cheese and pretzel on our sausage board had obviously been sitting out in the heat de some time. The restaurant was quite empty when we went on a Sunday at 5. Mostly what seemed to be off duty employees and industry people at the bar. I would say this is now more of a bar than restaurant. Disappointing experience overall."

"Took my parents here for a unique experience and they loved it! We ordered two beer flights for drinks, and for food got Kartoffel tots, Jager schnitzel, Bavarian Crispy Pork Shank, and One sausage platter with two sausages Frankfurter and Sicilian. The portions are huge but we did our best to finish most of it.Inside the restaurant, the area that's nearer to the entrance is for bar low key hangout where I saw some people grab drinks together after work or for dates.Further in from the entrance is the dining area where I saw some people sit down and order meals.Price is pretty reasonable given that this is SF their portions are generous.I also enjoyed the German flights as well!"

"The Village Corner has been around forever and personally I LOVE it. Met a couple of high school friends here to catch up on life and we had a wonderful time. Cory was our server and the bartender. He did a fantastic job and didn't try to rush us at all. For starters we had the spinach and artichoke dip and a yummy homemade pretzel. The beer selection was really good and you feel like you are in a Munich Brewhouse. The cocktails were well made and tasty! Dinner was also really good. The schnitzels are authentic and come with spaetzle that is made to perfection. If you are looking for a high class joint with fancy food this is not your place and don't go in expecting that! This is a wonderful family restaurant that reminds you of being in Bavaria! Oh, and don't miss their desserts and bakery. I ate too much but was very happy!!!"
