"Its a Monday night and we are in downtown and craved for some K-BBQ. So why not take another 1 hour bus to Mt Lebanon. The host I believe she is Korean, she is very friendly and hospitable. But the restaurant was short-staffed so it took her 30 ' for us to order and another 30 ' to have our food. Because everybody have the same situation, and understand the situation so nobody seems to angry or upset and wait her patiently. You can shoot some Gamsamhanida or Jal meo-geo-sseum-ni-da , she will be very happy. We have the BBQ Grill and you have to order at least 2lbs of choice of protein to have the grill table. Its a Monday night we got there by 5.30 or 6pm and longer we wait the guest just coming in so the restaurant with the capacity of 25 is full. Later fater we go there are to go and take away order as well so the lady is not going crazy, I will give her that, she did her best but still should have someone help her will be better. We have pork belly and marinated beef sirloin. We love the samgsupsal but the beef marinate was ok not as I expected should go for the bulgogi. The banchan (side dishes) were all lovely, just for me I dont like onion, or any kind of peppers kimchi so I didnt touch it. But you combine the lettuce, the grilled meat and the banchan and sauce, that will be the correct way to eat K-BBQ. The sauce, we need more (luckily we dont have to pay for the extra) but I believe its just a plain soybean paste (I think they have mixed with something else but Im not sure). You should bring change of clothes after you eat because, there will be smoke from the grill at every table (oh and the grilled table they only have 5 of them so better go hurry for dinner). That smoke will stay until the end of the night so if you go somewhere else after that bring a shirt with you. And they dont have the ventilators at every table so the smoke is kinda bad. Other than that, I would love to try place again"

"Fresh kimchi that is cut in front of you when served! Where else do you see this? First time I've seen it and it's got me hooked!Tang's Haus serves some delicious Korean dishes that make you feel right at home. With the comfort of piping hot soup and rice, it'll warm up your winter days and evenings. Aside from soups, you'll have options of pancakes, rice bowls, and glass noodles. EVERYTHING comes out hot and fresh! The service was great and they offered to refill our fish cakes and veggies after they were gobbled up. Water and tea were refilled without flagging anyone down. They were on top of it!Now the food:Bulgogi very flavorful! Served with glass noodles, this will be enough to fill you up. Pair it with some rice and kimchi...chef's kiss! Galbi the soup is very refreshing and if you're into sucking on bone for flavor, this is for you. The meat was tender and plentiful. Again, pair it with rice and your stomach will be warm and content.Seafood pancake must get for every meal! Very shareable and the texture will have you chomping away. The crisp from the edges, the bounce with each bite, and the little seafood treasures will make this appetizer a fun eating experience. It's bigger than most places and packed with more ingredients than most.Japchae glass noodles packed with flavor and hot and ready for slurping. This is for us also a must have since we are big fans of noodles. Goes well with everything in the table!Stone rice bibimbap delicious! I usually prefer crispier rice but the ingredients made up for it. Juicy mushrooms and seaweed added just the right umami flavors to round out our meal.Overall, the price is a bit higher than most places but the quality is worth it. The portions are good too (every dish seems to be shareable for at least two people we got a bunch of dishes and shared along five and still had leftovers). It's a small place but it's also located in a tiny mall that few people frequent. If you're looking to dine in for dinner, get there early (before 7 pm). Otherwise get take out (they were voted best take out place in Union City recently). Afterwards, the boba place next door is a nice dessert! The the variety of dishes will bring me back and the fresh kimchi will keep me there. Perhaps make Tang's Haus your house for your next meal!"
