"In general, the dinner dancing event felt like a pricey tourist trap. The atmosphere was definitely lovely, with a fantastic live band and dancing. The appetizers and dessert were delicious. However, the service was terrible. The waiter continuously mixed up orders, even with a pre-fix menu. When asked for sparkling water, flat water was brought instead after a long wait. Despite requesting a vegetarian option for the first course, chicken was delivered instead of a salad. The lobster cavatelli in the second course was overcooked, but the lobster itself was satisfactory. When two fish dishes were requested for the main course, two beef dishes were mistakenly brought out, resulting in another wait for the correct dishes. Overall, better food and service can be found for a lower price elsewhere. Despite the charm of dining and dancing at the Rainbow Room, it seems the main draw of the experience is simply being able to say you've been there."
