"Solid spot that I would definitely recommend if you're ever in the neighborhood. Food/Drinks: The food was good, but admittedly pricey. The conch fritters were the highlight of the night; they were absolutely amazing and we were ready to order another round. The Mac and cheese was not as cheesy as I would've liked and it lacked a bit of a kick, but was still enjoyable to eat. I ordered the red snapper in coconut milk this dish was a healthy portion so if you are really hungry I would recommend it. Overall it was authentic in flavor and had a very fresh taste to it. My partner ordered the Oxtail and dumplings he really enjoyed it but mentioned that it could have been elevated if accompanied with rice. Make sure to leave room for the guava cheesecake because it was very, very good! The guava was perfectly sweet and paired beautifully with the cheesecake. Die Hardand Papi's Mai Tai Drinks were nice and strong.Service: We got seated pretty quickly. We had two different waitresses and they were both equally friendly and attentive. Ambiance: Super chill ambiance with dim lights. The early 2000s music truly made my night. Overall, I liked my Sally Roots experience. This would be a perfect spot to catch up with friends or a cute spot to celebrate a milestone in your life."
