"Excellent northern Thai cuisine in the Red Hook neighborhood. It's a very small restaurant and there was a short wait on a Wednesday so perhaps reservations would be wise on the weekend. We had the red snapper, delicious and crispy; their signature dish, Kao Soy, which was amazing. We opted for the vegetarian option, tofu instead of chicken. It comes with crispy and soft noodles in a curry-like sauce. We also had the vermicelli noodles in green curry sauce, so good. I had the same thing at Pok Pok and they add in the anchovy, which I didn't like, but Kao Soy puts it on the side, which is nice. The papaya salad was good but disturbingly spicy. I could not handle it. The service here could've been a little better. They seemed to be rushing us at 9:15pm when they close at 10:00pm."
