"I had high hopes for this restaurant because I love Indian food, but I was disappointed by the limited menu and the lack of traditional dishes. The chicken marsala tasted like processed meat and the sauce was not as spicy as promised. The lentils were decent but had too much sauce. The dal was also not what I expected. Overall, the menu was not as extensive as other Indian restaurants I have been to. I don't think I will return, although I did enjoy the relaxing music."

"Service was friendly but inattentive for long periods of time. Bottled beer was warm. Big pour of white wine. Chairs on patio have leather seats that are shredded and almost completely peeled off. Lamb filled Naan was undercooked. Masala sauce furnished gratis for dipping was just OK. Mutter paneer was somewhat flavorful and medium spiced but butter chicken, also requested medium spice, came out as mild and flavorless. Gratis dessert of Indian donut holes in syrup was very sweet and heavy. The patio itself is reasonably pleasant urban dining other than the chairs. Considering everything, we would have much preferred to be at India's on Hampden, our go to for Indian food in southeast Denver. Food, service and ambience there are far superior to this Little India's, which is best described as a place to get a large serving of average quality food at a good price. That's not what we are looking for when we dine out but others might like it."

"We ordered take-out from here a few times and then finally decided to come in for a dine-in and it was perfect! The food was perfect on all aspects. We really enjoyed all the dishes we got; they were tasty and perfectly spiced. The server was new but they really tried hard and ended up getting everything correctly. We came right back a week after with a friend and we really enjoyed the food again. Would be back soon : Service: Dine in"

"Table cloth dining room, quiet atmosphere. The service is underestimated and discreet. Mixed Appetizers is a generous offer. Kabuli Nan Bread is an abandoned, slightly puffy bread filled w/ a sweet, young coconut, powdered almonds, small raisins. Interestingly, you can pair wiresavory curry or as dessert. Masala Curry is thick, orangy brown, more tomato sweet garlic on the tongue with yogurt, possibly coconut milk, touch of butter. Lamb Pasanda is a greenish yellow, ground almond-curry sauce with pieces of long boiled lamb that is plush, fibrous, meat. Can be the best Indian in North Hollywood."

"The lamb samosas were AHMAYZING not too gamey, lots of flavor. Their mint chutney and tamarind sauce are a must with the samosas! Our butter chicken and paneer spinach dish (palak masala saag) was super flavorful and right on point. The paneer naan could use a tad more salt to bring out the paneer flavor, but very enjoyable all the same. The mango lassi was perfect. I hardly ever comment on the interior of places, but the bright orange interior leaves something to be desired; at least the lighting is mood lighting so the orange isn't tooo bad but I'd personally go with a sage green for that place. Vegetarian options: Entire section for the vegetarians Parking: If there isn't a yoga class going on across the street, there's plenty of parking along the street leading up to it Kid-friendliness: I saw kids, dunno of they have coloring menus or not"

"the taste of india is my way to the Indian place. the portions are large, they have fast service, they can order by over eating, and the dunes in experience is also quite good. each dish lets them specify the protein they have meats, but they can make kartoffels, windshield wipers (dairy cheese, vegetables, and I think tofu so that they make almost any option vegetarian. for vegans (woo! they give in which dishes are vegan, of which there are at least 10 I believe, and they can also make other dishes vegan by replacing kokosmilch for cream. I personally get their coconut curry 'prepared vegan' and its amazing! totally recommended! I'm sorry I didn't have a photo, I was there yesterday before I created my happy Cow account."

"Do not eat here. One of our 2 dishes arrived 10-15 minutes after the other. The Sag Paneer. It seemed to be canned spinach w some cheese thrown in. Zero flavor. No salt no spice no nothing. The naan was alright. The service was really bad, maybe their first night ? Who knows. Very disappointed as I was meeting w a friend I had not seen in 3 years and we were just so upset we wasted our time here my goodness it was bad."

"Outstanding food, drinks and service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. We've seldom had such a great Indian meal. We'll definitely be back. The only slight downside, which is not at all the restaurant's fault, is its location right across the street from the Central Library. The homeless panhandling situation is even more intense than some other parts of downtown, which is saying something."
