"This restaurant offers some of the most beautiful Mexican dishes in Los Angeles, which is surprising given that the city doesn't have many standout options for Mexican food besides tacos and food trucks. It’s refreshing to discover a sit-down Mexican restaurant where the food is genuinely good. Make sure to try the chicharrón tacos, cochinita pibil sopes, green enchiladas, and especially the guacamole—everything is delicious. I don't drink much, but my friend can’t stop raving about her aguas frescas, particularly the cucumber flavor. As for me, I'll stick with a Diet Coke, haha. The dishes are tasty, though not quite as good as those at Guelagetza, which is understandable. The restaurant has a nice airy atmosphere, with limited parking in the back but decent street parking available. The service is friendly (and they’ll speak to you in Spanish if you prefer), but it can be a bit slow. Be prepared to wait a little longer for your food, but it’s definitely worth it."
