"I stayed at The Fredrick Hotel and this restaurant is in some building, Ordered truffle pizza and it was perfect but what I didn’t like is altitude of the guy he looks like manager tall guy with tattoos, he was little bit disrespectful with his altitude, when I make order he didn’t say a word just turn around and left table , he barely said what you whant , you can’t be so full of yourself. And coming on dinner with friends, waiter spilled drink on my friend and he was smiling all night, he didn’t even look that he is sorry, and we sited outside, before they close they take all tables and chairs on one place , this guy who was doing that was throwing chairs and tables so hard I mean obvious he whanted us out but that is not how job is done in serious restaurants! I visited far worse places and they had at least better stuff who acted nice and polite!"

"Food was excellent. Atmosphere was good but the service was not good at all. Our server sat us down and asked what kind of water we wanted and that was it. We had to ask to order a drink and ask for some bread. I think the server might have stopped by the table once during the meal. Great food but overall I don't think I would go back because of the poor service. Our server was a brunette young lady just an FYI ."

"Food was tasty and that’s about it. Service was all around terrible. They brought the wrong order to my dining companion and for some reason brought my order back too, even though my order was correct. I had to flag down the server to bring my food back over otherwise it was going to sit out until the other correct order was ready?! Waters were never refilled during the meal. Our server never came to check in on us yet we saw him talking to all other tables around us. At the end of the meal I asked our server if bread comes with the meal since I saw several tables around us with bread. His response was that it’s free but you have to ask them for it and then they’ll bring it… overall good food but not worth it for the bad service and all around experience."

"Good Italian food. Took my date here for dinner the other night as we both wanted to check it out, then go out for a few drinks and enjoy the nightlife. The restaurant is located downstairs so it is not handicap assessable, just want to put that out there not that it affected us. "I'm kind of heartbroken. Normally I would give this place at least 4 stars. I'm only giving 2 stars because the service is good. It's a little restaurant my husband and I loved going to somewhat often, but this last time we went we noticed the prices have gone up MAJORLY. I used to love getting the steak salad. I believe it was around 20, now it's over 30.. for a salad lol The salmon dish I use to get (which was very mediocre the last 2 times I ordered it) was around 30, has now gone up to almost 45 dollars. It's so upsetting. I really loved the atmosphere and the service but the food and some of the portion sizes (like the ravioli dishes) are just NOT worth the prices now. We won't be going back unless they lower the prices again and I don't see that happening so I guess they lost some regular guests and we lost our spot we loved. The hardest part is my husband asked me where I wanted to go for our 10 year anniversary dinner coming up in August and the only place up here I wanted to go with him is Peppercorn, but not now."

"Really wanted to like this place. The ambiance was great, and the service was incredible, but 3 out of 4 of us got sick. I was the only one who didn't eat the scallops and had a good steak. Hubby's rib eye was tough, the lasagna was bland and tasted funny, the chicken marsala had a sweet sauce instead of savory and my baked potato wasn't cooked all the way. The highlight was the bruschetta. but after all that and paying $300, it wasn't enough to garner a good review. Peppercorn mgmt needs to get rid of those scallops!"

"I have gone to like a Chena a few times in the last few months and each time I have had amazing service and amazing food. Each day they have $10 lunch specials and Thursdays especially is an awesome meal. It is garlic bread with...Caesar salad at the Penny pasta with sun-dried tomatoes mushrooms and chicken with the cream sauce. The dish is absolutely amazing. I went last week with a group of five friends and everybody had excellent service as well. A friend and I decided to share a salad and a pasta . The chef was more than happy to split both on separate plates and serve them to us. And to our surprise the waitress, who was on only her third shift at that restaurant, and was single-handedly managing the whole restaurant, split the cost on each of our bills separately. My husband and I have gone this winter to her three times to have their lunch specials before we go to a movie. Each time her meal has been excellent. I will definitely be back again."
