"We have a six-year old LOVES Indian and a 4 and 2 years old who like it, but we have found local Indian buffets are not enthusiastic about big families with children. Nawab's buffet is fabulous. The staff is so welcoming and great with our children and the buffet has the favorite dishes of the guys on it. We don't eat anywhere else in Wilmington. We highly recommend it."

"fantastic homemade experience. let me just say that it was a fantastic Christmas dinner for 2013 that was personal amazing that eating was authentic Indian cuisine with some of the best flavors I ever tasted in Indian cuisine. this is a place where everyone and everyone interested in a new culinary experience or an enthusiastic Indian cuisine is. again thanks to sangam indian for this Christmas dinner!"

"I used to really love going to the buffet here. It was really good. They recently moved and I think they changed kitchen staff. The buffet now is super meat heavy. Almost all the vegetarian dishes had cheese in them. We also ordered a la cart a few months ago. The taste and the quality of the food seems to have diminished. In an area with lots of Indian restaurants, vegetarians and vegans can try something much better. Taj Grill, Star of India and Jewel of India are a few."

"I was truly impressed with the food at this restaurant. I ordered vegetable samosas and Aloo Gobi Mattar, both of which were delicious. The restaurant was very accommodating for vegans, with menu options clearly marked. The servers were extremely friendly and attentive. The samosas were so good that I couldn't help but applaud between bites. I will definitely be returning when I am in the area again."

"Taste of India is a tucked away unique establishment that is family run and offers fresh-tasting authentic Indian cuisine. Our decision to try this cozy restaurant one evening turned out to be a terrific idea. We entered the venue and were seated in a comfortable booth as we were approached by a smiling server, received menus, and were warmly welcomed to the restaurant. Our bottle of wine was opened and poured, as we started to review the menus to decide what our evening indulgence would be. A multitude of options awaits patrons at Taste of India. After several minutes debating our dinner options, we placed our orders, sipped our wine, and settled in for a meal we would not soon forget. Garlic Naan Our order of Garlic Naan $2.50) was hot, freshly-baked, and flavorful with the addition of fresh garlic and parsley. It was a sufficient amount of bread for the two of us, and we found it to be of excellent quality. Steamed Basmati Rice, Raita, and Accompanying Indian Sauces Additionally, r"

"I really love to see this restaurant succeed with their lunch buffet and hope they can improve their buffet, mainly because they are clean (unlike Aroma Indian Restaurant food that always makes me sick), but their buffet has several issues. First the goods: clean, nice people, they have cucumber and they have goat on weekends buffet, and their Raita is based on good house made yogurt which is sour and good, not like store yogurt that is too smooth and sweet. Now the bads or what is lacking in the buffet: The buffet does not have any creativity, specifically there is no real vegetable in the buffet. And No, just because a dish does not have meat does not mean that dish is vegetarian! for example bread, white rice, or potato or corn or the so called vegetarian biryani that has nothing but rice and potato and corn or tofu are all plant based but they are not real vegetables, they are just pure starchy carbohydrates. Real vegetarian dishes which are absent here would be dishes made from for example eggplant, super healthy bitter gourd, zucchini, cauliflower, Gongura, cabbage, methi, squash, etc. And No, a pakora which is basically a tiny piece of some veggie coated in a thick starchy coating and then deep fried is not exactly a healthy vegetarian option either. The only thing that is vegetarian in their buffer is the Saag paneer which is made of spinach but spinach is really bad for people like me with kidney stone. So not being a fan of chicken or plain starch (rice or potato or bread) or spinach, and not seeing any real vegetarian dishes, I basically end up with only one thing (the goat on weekends) that I can have from their buffet. And sadly their goat also is too salty and not tasting that good. I also think a good Indian buffet should include chai masala and papad (the crunchy thin bread made from lentil flour) for people who try to avoid wheat based bread. Or even better lamb byrani would be a nice option. Bottom line I hope they decide to add some real vegetarian dishes and lamb because I like this restaurant and really want to support them but right now I just can't visit them too often."

"I love Indian food and have been wanting to try this place for the longest! My friend recently treated me to dinner here, and I loved it! He got food from their buffet, which I didn't feel comfortable with given that we're still in a pandemic so I opted to order from the menu. I've also never really been fond of buffets. I ordered the fish malabar, which was SPECTACULAR! It was a lot of food so I only ate half of it and finished the rest the next day for lunch. They have many options to choose from, and you can always stick with what they have at the buffet. My friend really liked it. This is the perfect place for a date night or to enjoy quality time with friends. They have ample parking, a nice view from the window where we sat, and they sometimes have live music, which we will likely go back for. The staff were kind, and their food is reasonably-priced. This is the best Indian food I've had in the Triangle area so I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you try it!"

"Context: After a long, hot day of exploring Vancouver my family and I wanted to get a solid meal before heading to the airport for a late flight. Service: Great. The staff was friendly and super helpful with ordering. They also checked in on us a couple of times. Food: Outstanding! This was one of the best Indian meals I have had in a while. My son and I got tandoori chicken (it came out steaming hot crispy and spicy). My daughter and wife got butter chicken super creamy, flavorful and delicious. We also got four (yes four) orders of naan (two regular and two garlic). It was warm, crispy and soft (crispy outside and bottom soft interior. My daughter gave the food a 10 out of 10. Atmosphere: Nice but casual? You can see the kitchen from the dining room. I personally love that you see, hear and smell all of the delicious food being cooked. Overall: A great place to eat and highly recommended!"

"The ambience of this restaurant was very nice. The food was very bad. We ordered biryani and it tasted so pathetic. The quantity of food served for the price is also less. We tried plenty of dishes and nothing met expectations. Other than ambience, nothing was great. Bread items (roti, naan) were good. I would definitely not recommend this place. When we gave feedback to the employee, he wasn't even paying attention and not willing to accept it. Instead he was focused on attending to other customers."

"Amazing Indian food. Not too spicy, not too oily and not too much cool or sugar. I ordered a party at home and each item was loved by guests. Especially Samosa Bhel Chaat was a great hit. I also ordered Gobhi 65 for appetizers. The main course was Malai Kofta and Butter Cleaner Masala with Butter Naan. Chicken-Bryani and Veg distributor-Birayni were too good. Rasmalai was my personal favorite. I am so glad that I came to them and they are obliged to take order. If you stay close, this could go perfectly to eat or order. Great job guys!"

"Horrible Horrible worst service. We just went there last Sunday for Mother’s day lunch and it was a horrible service. In spite of making a reservation a week in advance we had to wait for almost 2 hours to get the table. And no one seem to be bothered, almost had to clean our own table and join the tables ourselves. Water was not served on time, food was served cold. Really irresponsible owner and staff. Very very bad please do not ever go to this place."

"Delicious vegetarian food. Every plate in the tali had a distinct flavor, the naan had a perfect degree of crisp and chew, and the mushroom mutter had complex flavors. The food exceeded my expectations on every level and I can't wait to try more. The portions are generous and amazing value. It was very busy on a Saturday night and the staff was working hard. The music was a tad too loud for conversation."
