"This place is such a hidden gem!! My family has been ordering here for takeout bc the food is SO GOOD dare I say it’s delicious. It’s flavorful, it’s spicy, it’s full of yummy goodness. We finally decided to dine in one day and wow, I think the food was better when we ordered in. Favorites include: pakora, achari vegetable, and tandoori chicken. If you’re curious to try it, then stop reading this review and just go!! (Dining in is definitely better than takeout plus the owner is so nice)"

"Nice room, delicious food at Singh's Cafe. The dining room is a few steps away, so feels very cozy and pleasant. We have dined there many times over the years and were always enthusiastic. After we ordered the dinner, the waiter brought each of us a small bowl of spinach soup, a delicious bite and a nice way to begin. Lamb Samosas were hot and came with a tray of spices to spicier or add a little sweetness. This is a popular appetizer and can be vegetarian. In fact, it is easy to stay with vegetable dishes for the entire meal. Lamb corma and chicken in Dal sauce were delicious. You can order what level of spiciness you prefer from mild to really, really hot. The waiter is friendly and efficent. The room is beautiful, and the table is beautifully decorated, with authentic hotplates, metal plates. Very hygienic. Singh has an alcohol license. There are many street parking places. Singh's made a fleeting takeover business for customer pickup and delivery services. As mentioned, the dining room is a few steps away from the street level, so is not accessible to disabled persons for a wheelchair. Every day of the week there is a buffet for lunch. They take reservations, but the dining room was not very full these days."

"this restaurant is located 2 minutes to walk from the hotel that I was. one of my colleagues who was decent by Indians/Pakistani found this place and recommended that we go to lunch and I was so glad that I went. this restaurant is very spacious and clean. they have both Indian and Pakistani dishes. I ordered shrimp Karahi(It comes in a wok like pansensizzling). it is shrimp cooked with garlic/cooked sauce with many aromatic / delicious flavors. it's so delicious. it comes with rice. I also ordered garlic naan and kashmir tea(Pink tee with cardamom. so delicious). during my second visit a few days ago there were many customers waiting outside to open (opened around 1130). I ordered the same exactly and I also ordered shrimp biriyani later to dinner. the part of shrimp biriyani was enormous, so I had 3 meals out of it and oh, it was so delicious! the server (very nicer man and he is the only server) was so nice and attentive. the owner came to my table to see how everything was. I love this restaurant and this is my place when I am in the opposite."

"$18.44 for 0.4 pounds! I think I will weigh this myself in this economy. buyer beware. it should be 2/3 lb or 300 grams, but they shortened me over 100 grams. stingy. only to give 3 stars because the cook offered me to give me more food after I complained, but we were back with us."

"We decided to go out to dinner after reading raving reviews about this place on Yelp!. We walked in and were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is a mixture of clean, colorful modern, decor along with classic Indian artifacts. The walls and the seating reminded me of Indian spices such as roasted turmeric and green cardamoms! Very nice touch indeed! We settled down and ordered samosas for an appetizer. Each of the samosa’s crust was golden brown and not overcooked (That was a very good sign). The potato stuffing was lightly flavored and tasted great! I would definitely order that again. We ordered Saag Paneer, Daal Makhani and a basket of 4 vegetarian naans. We asked the hostess to make our food medium hot. The Daal and the Saag Paneer were very tasty but definitely needed more heat. I would have to ask them to punch it up a bit the next time I go. Our bread basket comprised of the fenugreek (methi) naan, the aloo paratha, and the hara bhara (green) naan and the pezaa naan. The first three were simply delicious. I honestly could have just had those for my meal and be completely satisfied. The pezaa naan (cheese, onions and dry fruits) was not to my liking. It tasted a bit too much of the onion. I would not be ordering that again. The two ladies that were sitting next to us happened to look over to see what we had ordered. We struck up a conversation and found out that they were regulars at this place. They too said the food here is generally served mild, which definitely needs to be spiced up! My overall recommendation is that this place is definitely worth multiple visits and think it is one of the best places to taste Indian flavors. I am even considering getting food catered from this place at my parties in the future."

"UPDATE: I GOT FOOD POISONING. Do you see any yellow lentils in this picture? I paid $22 for yellow lentils and these clowns send me a pint of yellow water with like 30 assorted black and yellow lentils floating in it. I had to mix the entire pint of rice in just to make a watery mushy soup out of it, that 's what you see in this photo. I ordered lentils because they 're nutritious and tasty, and they serve me oily yellow water and rice, the epitome of unhealthy garbage. The chicken my partner tried had no flavor. It takes 4 minutes to call the number associated with an order and say, sorry, we 're out of lentils, please choose something else but they didn 't bother. Take your money somewhere else!"

"Worst food experience ever. For an Indian restaurant, they have no idea how to prepare Indian dishes. The first restaurant where drinking water is not free, but is served in bottles. As for the food they charge extravagantly, but neither the quantity or quality match the prices. Furthermore, found a small stone in my curry. Will never visit this place again and I suggest authentic Indian food lovers like me to avoid this place. This is the first time I wish Google had a negative rating system, so please don't be fooled by the 1 star rating for the review."

"The food is decent enough but the customer service leaves much to be desired. I have ordered delivery here on two previous occasions and the driver was discourteous both times. Most recently I placed an order through Seamless and received a call from the restaurant stating my driver would not deliver my order because I did not leave a tip. I intended to tip in cash, and have tipped every time I ordered from this establishment. That said, I have never had an experience like this where I am being demanded a tip. I paid for my food and delivery service, period. That was wildly unprofessional and I promptly canceled my order and wont be ordering here again."
"Disclaimer: we order (almost) every Saturday from Amma Full points for consistently being delicious with their lunch special."

"The food was delicious, service fast and friendly. We enjoyed three different Veg dishes and Naan. We will definitely come back. The atmosphere was casual without tablecloths and TV in bar and dining room. The restaurant was very clean."

"all vegetarian casual eclectic location with the predominant majority of the elements already vegan and uniquely identified on the menu. there are many South Asian restaurants in this part of the bay area, but only a few that we have seen that such a wide menu. Of course, indian is their specificity, but they also dare to a series of Chinese and even Italian dishes with an Indian flare. we were not that dared for our first meal, but had a delicious dahi Gappa-Chaat (without the yogurt), which was a chilled, fresh salad like blend of chalk, kartoffels, minze and chutney for only $6, followed by an excellent spicy chettinad dosa filled with flower cauliflower masala and accompanied by three chutneys. service was friendly and fast, parking lots are abundant (it is part of a strip shopping center), and the prices are very reasonable. they have an breakfast buffet at the weekend. overall this place is on par with other similar restaurants in the environment, with the additional bonus of healthy tasting chaats. in any case a place we will visit again."
