"the food was good, but the service was at best unstoppable. we were not greeted with any hallo or name, but do they want a drink? waited 15 minutes for a cocktail that another server brought to us. we were not offered any insights into the menu and the one question I asked was answered, I like that huh we had ordered three small plates, of which we had asked to garnish, but no one has ever checked us until it was time to get out. the same with the escaped, no quality control until I have also stopped the server to ask a box. we sat beside a dirty table all the meal, although we were one of only 5 tables in the restaurant. after our meal we were looking forward to dessert and cappuccinos, but as the menu in the middle of the table unceremoniell we decided we had enough. we paid and left. we spent $100 per head and were treated with edgeline decaine. this is one that is crossed by the list."

"Hendricks Tavern is a hidden gem located in the heart of Roslyn. The service, from the valet attendants to the wait staff, was excellent and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The ambiance is warm, laid back, and relaxing. My wife had been wanting to try Hendricks Tavern for a while, so we decided to celebrate her birthday there. We made a reservation for outdoor seating and were accommodated without any issues. The food was superb! We enjoyed zucchini and eggplant chips, fried calamari, and a pizza as appetizers, all of which were delicious. For our main courses, we had Tavern BBQ Ribs and a 30oz Tomahawk Rib Eye steak, which we shared. The sides of creamed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, and hash browns were tasty, although the hash browns were a bit crunchy. Our desserts, carrot cake and homemade apple crisp, were also fantastic. The wait staff even sang happy birthday to my wife when they brought out her dessert, which was a nice touch. Overall, we had a great dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Thank you to everyone at Hendricks Tavern for making my wife's birthday dinner special and memorable."

"I love the St PAUL Grill, but the lamb chop I had was the toughest lamb chop I have ever had. That was disappointing. The prices are up as well, I had one drink, no appetizers and no dessert. My son doesn’t drink and the bill was $150. A bit disappointing but I knew what I was getting myself in for."

"First time here with the band Whatever We Are, it’s like an English Pub, great music, two sides: one side has dim lighting and the bar and one where it could be for a family dinner near the kitchen. Seats are awesomely comfy. Bathroom is clean! Waitress is on point with refilling drinks, even hot drinks. Outfits are finesse. Great service overall!"

"beautiful diner! it is from a main road, but is a very nice diner. great seating and beautiful view from the window stands (because of pretty flowers.) the cinnamon bakingcakes were so good. so good! my man liked his omelett and the children swallowed the chocolate chip pancakes. destined child-friendly. we had fantastic service. we appreciate the military rebate. overall we were so glad we stopped here!"

"very disappointed in the service! visited the Sunday brunch today with high hopes. once sitting it took a long time before the server recognized us and took our drink order. we ordered 2 coffees and a ginger-ale and went to get our food....We sat on a table right under the sun. it was so hot and unpleasant with the sun that was shot in our eyes; we couldn't even turn around. I sweated so much and really didn't enjoy myself. I asked the server if we could sit somewhere else; she answered no and mentioned that customers were at a nearby table also in the sun and went through the same. How does this help my situation? Given the ugly price of almost $60 per person, I think that accommodations could have been made. we came back with our food and our drinks weren't there yet. a lot of time passed. Finally, I moved to the server regarding our drinks and she said, let me double check that she returned and said they were brought to the wrong table. if she had checked us at least once during our meal, she would have known. She didn't even check if we wanted to fill in until I asked for one. overall we felt that we were ignored. I have received much better service in restaurants a third of the price. won 't recommend ricarda 's."

"I went for happy hour. The drink prices were great for my beer. Most menu items for happy hour were good. Had the chicken quesadilla, chicken wings and fries. both were a good buy. The chicken tender and french fries happy hour meal includes 2 chicken tenders. Will definitely go back for happy hour and just for lunch/dinner as I find the food delicious. Our server was spot on."

"I have eaten regularly in osteria pronto since it opened. the new OP Italian has literally left a bad taste in my mouth and I doubt that I will ever be back. no free brot, the menu has changed, along with the aromes of food. the prices have increased, but it has not been eaten. very sad to see that one of my favorite restaurants takes a turn into the wrong direction."

"Very disappointed in the buffet for the Christmas Boat Parade. First not told it was a buffet when I called for reservations. Communication was poor when we arrived, told there was a Buffet or you could order on menu…well only the $40 buffet. They offered nothing really special or exciting, baked salmon or chicken on the so called buffet. The food was lukewarm to cold…. mini crab cakes cold, stuffed mushrooms cold, salmon cool, veggies cool. Grandson could not even eat the French fries. Thought the dessert would be good until there was a long hair in mine. To top it off there was a 15% service charge hidden in the bill and asking for gratuity as well when you served yourself. With a bill of $200 for 3 people and 2 drinks (glass of wine and a beer) we will NOT be frequenting this restaurant again. We understand now why very few partook in the buffet and very few people in the restaurant on a Saturday night with a Christmas Boat Parade right out the windows"

"it was an overcrowded busy night and probably unexpected due to the tree lighting at the pier with excited groups, family and children all ordering including us a table of five. our server has done the best they could do with orders to ensure that drinks were taken care of. but the kitchen could not get up to some members of our table after their allotted hour and half to have to leave to eat a lot. we had to wait two orders after 90 minutes. we visit zanes regularly and always had a five star experience. that was unexpected, so I think of our two parts."

"I booked reservation for 50th birthday months ahead. The hostess was so rude and didn’t greet us and ignored me when I told her I had reservations. She just said for two, and I said yes I have a reservation and she replied “uh huh” this way. We were seated without a view of the lake and when I asked her she said we don’t have any and I asked if we could sit outside then and she replied they aren’t seating outside, yet 20 min into our visit she starts seating the tables outside. She never asked for my name for my reservation and my fiancés special birthday dinner was completely overlooked. The food was extremely bland over cooked vegetables with the crispy chicken. The crab cakes were the size of a half dollar and mostly breading. We drive 5 hours to stay at this resort and I couldn’t believe this was the birthday dinner I had planned. No offer for a dessert or anything. We were just asked if we wanted to charge the extremely overpriced, bland, small food to our room. This place did not live up to its hype at all and hostess needs to be better trained."

"One of the rare places where, while expensive, has always left me feeling like I got a good deal. The food is flat-out outstanding, I’ve never had a dish that was even just “good.” Even the salads are “how the hell are they doing this” excellent. The atmosphere is elegant but not stuffy, and judicious use of sound treatment means it never gets noisy, even when packed. It’s a small thing, but being able to carry on a conversation without raising your voice really heightens the experience for me. Finally, the service is perhaps the most impressive. Attentive, knowledgeable staff, and some of the best bartenders in Brooklyn. Sit at the bar and your water will never be empty, you drinks will never be empty, your dirty plates will be gone immediately, all before you even think to ask. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. It tends to fill up but go early and sit at the bar. You won’t be disappointed!"

Prices were also a little expensive. Weekdays and Sundays are better, but if you like Prime Rib, there is a price to pay, not only in dollars and cents, but in hearing loss."

"We had a most wonderful dinner outside at Coast! Coast has always been the place where our family went on all special occasions, especially our girls' graduations. We were celebrating our High School reunion and my birthday with friends who had arrived from the east coast and just had the best time. Our Server Jesse was probably one of the top servers I have had of all time! He is a very talented and lovely server who truly made our dining experience and celebration of my birthday so very meaningful and memorable. Thank you Coast and Jesse! Highly recommend going to Coast and eating outside on a lovely California evening!"

"Have been here over 30 times since they opened and never had a bad meal. They have a full service bar which is a huge plus. From eggs to pancakes, burgers, panini sandwiches, homemade lemon chicken soup, beef stew, and more. Never a disappointing meal. We went recently on a Sunday morning 10:30 with barely a wait. "My experience hosting a baby shower in the LOFT room was absolutely amazing! I planned the event from out of state and Aimee was such a great event coordinator answer all of my numerous questions with detail and patience! The room was perfect for the size of our shower and decorated enough so I only needed to add centerpieces and a few other details. Shay, our server for the afternoon, was so helpful, flexible and didn't miss a beat on providing us with everything we needed! Overall, I was able to bring my own creativity to our event and the staff at B&H's were wonderful! I would recommend this venue for events in a heartbeat! Thanks again!"
