"We celebrated as a group with our employees after a long successful day . We had a party of 6 and did not have reservations in advance.Not only was the server great , the entire staff was very accommodating. The atmosphere is nice, the food was delectable and came out hot! Two Parilladas Al Patron 4 sides were ordered at the table and they were cooked correctly filled everyone .We were able to hear each other , converse about our day , unwind . Everyone enjoyed themselves.City tavern is a staple in our city never disappoints."

"We held a group dinner in Limani. The food was fresh, delicious and well cooked to order. Nothing was sitting under a heat lamp! The room they gave us was comfortable and suitable for our group size. Service was friendly and very accurate, not fast flashing mainly because the food was prepared as we ordered, but speed was not our priority. The restaurant is BYO and many wine holders with ice cream have been provided cheerfully. Top notch experience in a well-run informal restaurant."

"We stopped by after the movies on Saturday night for a bite. We sat down and we were the only ones in the room who h was cold as if they turned off the heat before closing. We placed our order and were served our salad and a bread basket. The bread was cold,hard and stale. When the salad was served we asked for it to be split which it was not but that was not that big of a deal but a decent restaurant would have done that. There was not any pepper or cheese on the table and the waitress was not to be found so I needed to go scavenging other tables for the pepper and cheese. This left me cold and underserved. The salad was nothing to comment on The food came out and I ordered chicken masala and it was quite good. My wife ordered veal picata and while the flavor of the sauce was quite good the artichoke hearts where hard and under cook. The veal was of very poor quality Struggles to cut the meat. A steak knife would have worked better but then again why eat veal like this. Veal is to be tender and cut and cheese easily. Not worth 20.00 at all I eat out 3 to 5 times a week and must say I was not impressed at all"

"This is a very nice cozy restaurant. The staff was inviting and attentive. Took no time to be seated and was served warm tasty bread and butter to start off. The waiter took our order timely and made small talk which was nice. I ordered chicken Marsala with vegetables which was delightful to my taste buds. My significant other ordered the chicken Parmesan and he said it was made just right, the tomato sauce taste light fresh and flavorful like the waiter said it was made from their veggie garden. We ordered Expresso Martinis and Lychee Martinis that taste very good and made well which gave us a nice buzz. We are happy we found Oscar’s Italian restaurant and plan to make our go to spot. It was a great experience and I like how personal I felt there. We got to meet the Owen/ Chef who took time to come out and greet us. The staff made our experience a very good one being assertive and on time with every thing making sure we was happy. Thank you Oscar’s"

"Far from traditional, you should know what you're getting into going in. I was there on a Friday night and the Atmosphere was a blast. Definitely a rowdy clientele, so don't go if you want a quiet evening. Classic red sauce Italian, though a bit much sugar in the sauce for my taste. Great value. Service wasn't amazing, the ticket time on the bulk of our meal ran up the about 75 minutes, and the staff could be rude (depending member to member), though I think they have a particularly tough job to do and so I can't begrudge them for it.Overall, I'd be happy to go back with a large group."

"The best restaurant in southern Westchester, probably all of WC. Everything on the menu is worth trying, you'll find most of the tapas are worth ordering again. "The staff here is friendly from the moment you enter the door. I had a delicious Negroni at the small front bar while waiting for the rest of my party. Once arrived, we were seated in a larger booth in the back of the room. The kitchen heat was palpable and when I our server whether the AC could be turned up, within minutes it had cooled off. Our server was knowledgeable, personable and very efficient. She knew all the ingredients and preparation of each of the dishes we inquired about. My friend has serious allergy issues and she was incredibly patient in helping him work through the menu to determine what dishes he could safely eat. The food was expertly prepared and presented. There was a grilled lamb tongue with beets hazelnut appetizer that both people who ordered raved about. I had the baby artichokes and arugula topped with shaved parmesan that was light and delicious. Another appetizer was a sort of pork croquette. My main course was the Dorade prepared with a chili sauce that was the perfect balance for the lightness of the fish. My husband had the hangar steak that he said was perfectly prepared. Overall, the food and service were top notch. I do believe the music is played far too loudly for the size of the space. I would definitely recommend Perla and would eat there again"

"I recently dined at Cafe Red for the second time in a few months and once again had a great experience. The restaurant was busy on a Friday night, but the noise level was manageable, allowing for conversation. The service was good, but the standout was the delicious food. I particularly enjoyed the fig salad and the salmon, which I ordered for the second time. My girlfriend loved the lasagna, and our friends enjoyed their pounded pork chop. Cafe Red has been a local favorite in Kings Park for many years, and after my dinner there, I can see why."
