"I live in nashville and we eat in the city, a bit. I wanted to try deacons one, but never came to that. my wife suggested it as a beautiful place for my birthday, so we went. we were completely underwhelmed. our waiter was nice and attentive first. he called every “friend” that is a little strange when you hear it 20 times at all tables around her. we started with 2 apps. the mush and the charcuterie (meat) tablet. the muddles were big and juicy, but the broth had no taste at all. had to ask for hot sauce. the Charcuterie tablet had two meats, fat ham and mortadella, grund crappy lunch meat. Our disappointing things were also disappointing. my wife had steak and fries. she ordered her steak medium. it came raw. I know this happened, but this steak had been cut into slices so that both the expediter and our waiter could see that it was raw. they still brought it out. they threw it back on the grill and corrected it. I had the sharp cancer pasta. it was not spicy, there was no “holy trinity” as claimed on the menu. the desert was the funnel. we ordered the crème brûlée. it looked good when it came out, but when we broke through the top, it was liquid. I flew the manager/head waiter and showed her. she took it back and showed the personal. then, without apologising from no one, our waiter came to our table and tortured us a board with the shed on it. this small move cost a substantial part of its tip. Now I understand that many of their shops are touristic and probably not be back soon, but that doesn't mean that they can treat people badly. some of us could write a bad review and tell all our local friends that there are many better places to spend their money in the city."
