"I live in nashville and we eat in the city, a bit. I wanted to try deacons one, but never came to that. my wife suggested it as a beautiful place for my birthday, so we went. we were completely underwhelmed. our waiter was nice and attentive first. he called every “friend” that is a little strange when you hear it 20 times at all tables around her. we started with 2 apps. the mush and the charcuterie (meat) tablet. the muddles were big and juicy, but the broth had no taste at all. had to ask for hot sauce. the Charcuterie tablet had two meats, fat ham and mortadella, grund crappy lunch meat. absolutely one of the best steaks I've ever had. the sides were delicious. cocktails were ok, not the best, but the apps, entrees, side and dessert for not great eagle rare old fashioned. the service was top notch! our waitress was excellent in recommendations. the grillmaster sweated with us through the window and made it fun of us.
