"We met up for a round of golf at a nearby course and decided to grab lunch at Willow on the Nipomo Mesa. Despite hearing mixed reviews about the restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. We placed our order at the counter and found a table on the patio, which had large tables and plenty of umbrellas for shade. Our drinks arrived quickly and we enjoyed uninterrupted conversation until our meals arrived promptly with attentive service. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp tacos, which had a delicious local twist. My husband also enjoyed his turkey sandwich and slaw, taking half of it home for later. We would definitely consider returning to Willow as a fun stop before hitting the golf course."
