"Found this hidden gem while driving through Newport News today! This spot was cozy and welcoming, not to mention the staff made me feel very comfortable while attending to my needs. As for my order, I had spicy tonkotsu ramen along with their new strawberry boba. The ramen was very flavorful and it definitely felt like the chef had put a lot of effort into making the broth. I loved the toppings that came with the dish as the chashu pork melted throughout my mouth and the spicy umami broth lingered on the roof of my tongue and back of my throat. To end this meal, I decided to order a strawberry boba to-go which pleasantly reminded me of the iconic Korean strawberry milk which I buy in cartons at Farm Fresh! Overall, I had a great experience and would greatly encourage everyone else to give them a shot!"

"Ordered the Chicken Ramen which is suppose to be spicy, but in my opinion was mild. Would have preferred more green onion added but noodles and broth was fresh with a good flavor. The seasoned egg was just right. I’m not a fan of mushrooms but the kikurage absorbs the flavor of the broth and wasn’t bad. This was my first time getting Ramen here for take out and I do plan on dinning in next time and trying their sushi."

"Great place. I'm a particularly picky eater, having eaten at everywhere from Rally's to Fifi's $50 just to sit down and get a water. Used to have the best quail eggs ever. .<br/ <br/ That being said, I love their Bento boxes, as well as their habachi. VERY good. The sushi...eh. The salmon is hit and miss. It's stringy often when I order it, so I stay away from the whole fillets with sushi, but their sushi rolls are very, very good. The dynamite roll is a lot of fun.<br/ <br/ The service is good, and I've come to look forward to seeing some of them working. Only one of the waitresses seems to have a bit of an attitude every time I see her, but other than her, they all always have a smile on their faces and a cheery disposition."

"My husband and I went for dinner on a Saturday night. Although there were tables available, we chose to sit at the sushi bar. Our waitress was friendly, the drinks were excellent and the food was amazing. Unfortunately, sitting at the sushi bar allowed us to see that some Shino staff are not very happy or competent, and we watched a couple of minor arguments between wait staff and the sushi chefs. Our service was fine, but we saw finished sushi plates sitting for minutes, waiting to be delivered to the tables. Next time we go, we will sit at a table or at the bar. The food is worth it!"

"If I could give it 4.5 stars I would. We had the 3x5 Sashimi, Baked Scallops, Super Dragon Roll and Soft Tofu Stew with dumplings. Best dish Super Dragon. Dragon rolls are always my testing dish. Super Dragon which uses real snow crab really makes a difference. The other 3 dishes were par for the course and met expectations. Note that is really a experience and NOT aside, this would be a place I would recommend and would visit again when visiting Legoland."

"Such a great unlimited sushi place. I normally stick to the nigiri because it’s always super fresh and tasty but their special rolls are also great. One of their newest ones I tried called the Dynamite roll was excellent. Service is always fast. You’ll be finished eating within an hour or so. Dessert is one of the unique things about this spot, they actually have options for an additional price (excluded from unlimited sushi). I usually get the fried banana cause it’s simple and not too sweet. When I’m craving sushi, I usually go for an early dinner or late lunch. Make sure to head here with some time due to the college in the area, it can get packed!"

"my first time went and I thought it was completely different from what it was. the suppe, the salate and the water were the only good things. I had that huh and mignon. the chicken was burned outside and gummy inside. the filet mignon was good until it cooled and it was hard and super dry. the tear had hard pieces. we also ordered laughs and garnels. he has 4 cloves and half the size of a regular salmon fillet. both garnel and salmon were cooked. At some point, I'll make at least one fire trick every Hibachi place I was at. there was no maintenance or interaction. we hoped for a wonderful meal and was very disappointed."
