"The times I have been here, the place is hardly packed. Whether that is a sign take it how you will. An employee came from the kitchen to take our order but was hard to understand and came off rude before we said anything. He was not enunciating clearly and sounded like he was slurring words. Plus the way he was talking to us sounded rude and demanding. Letting that slide, we told our order and the guy paused a few times and seemed frustrated trying to enter it into the machine like he was struggling. Our receipt was given to us, which is weird because there was a sign about it being a 4% discount if paying by cash. If there is a sign about there being a discount if paying with cash, you’d think the staff would ask if you’re paying by cash or not before they print the receipt. I even asked about the discount sign and again, the employee was hard to understand because he was mumbling and slurring words. It did sound like the machine adds tax automatically so there is nothing we can do. Seems confusing because I’m not sure how that relates to the discount sign. I let that go again because I really want to like this place. But what drew the final straw was what happens next. The receipt gets printed, the confusion on the discount sign, and then we pay it. I’m not sure how this happens when the machine tells you the change to give customers but the wrong change was given. We were owed more than what we were given. We confusingly mentioned about the wrong change and showed how much he gave us. He fumbled about with the machine and even asked how much they owe us. We showed the change we were given and the receipt. He continued to fumble about and said something was hard to understand again. It sounded like the machine won’t open up again? Maybe unless it’s to take an order? It took us maybe 5 minutes to sort it out and when we did, he went into the kitchen and raised his voice. While I’m not fluent in the language, I did understand he was talking about a customer and he looked at us while saying it, so it’s my guess he was talking about us. He was loud to the point the kitchen staff and staff outside heard and laughed. The whole experience was the last time I will come here and order. I don’t want to eat from a place where I feel unwelcome."
