"Delicious an creative takes coupled with exceptional service! My family and I were walking down Arthur Ave. when a nice gentleman (I’m sorry that I forgot his name) enticed caught my toddler’s attention. He soon began telling us about their specials and we were sold right there on the sidewalk. It didn’t disappoint! I had the baked ravioli and my wife and I shared the octopus appetizer. As I said, everything was very tasty. We live in Brooklyn and we were only in the area after visiting the Bronx Zoo but we may have to add Gerbasi as a mandatory stop after future visits to the zoo."

"Walking through Bolton Landing, we were drawn in by the cozy entrance, tented with fireplaces. The decor inside here is beautiful! I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs while my parents both ordered the lasagna as it was described as buddy 's special recipe. My mother felt like they overdid it with the basil and my dad even commented that the food tasted like they were just getting rid of what they had for the season. My mom was later very sick that night. My spaghetti and meatballs seemed decent until I almost chipped my teeth on what seemed like pieces of bone. The hostess was nice and welcoming and so was our main waitress. Other staff that dropped off our check or napkins, threw it on our table and said here you go without even stopping as they walked by. I want to note we are in the off season for this area and the restaurant was not busy on a Sunday night. I would rather try another restaurant on this road next time I 'm in the area."

"The experience here was less than satisfying. The waitress made sure to rattle off all of the prices for everything that she described. It was only noticeable because she didn't do it at any other table she served near us. Since we were the only people of color in the restaurant, I can only assume it was an issue for her. I then had another server adjust an A/C unit above me without say pardon me or excuse me. The unit then began to drip on my wife and I. We requested to be moved and were eventually. This was our 24th wedding anniversary and dinner was a bust."

"Phenomenal food, phenomenal service. We went on mother's day night and our waitress was wonderful. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. My mother had certain food restrictions that our waitress tended to appropriately and delicately and it was not an issue to have that addressed. Overall, it was one of the best Mother's Day meals we have had and for that my family is very grateful. As patrons who have been coming for years, keep up the good work Frankie's! "I tried this restaurant after recently moving into the neighborhood and I have to say it was awesome. I ordered the special which included an extra large pizza, wings, and garlic knots for around $32 and it was a great deal. The food was delicious, especially the wings with Sal's Special Sauce, which was amazing. I will definitely be ordering from here again. The sauce had the perfect amount of flavor, not too spicy or bland, just awesome."
